I suspect, given that the launch did not provide us with much eye candy, PAF has gone in to cloaking mode. Dont quite understand why but I suspect we may see morethan just an AESA and wide angle HUD. I think there maybe at least one additional HP and HMDS .My own fanboy inner heart says 3 more hardpoints, 10%more fuel, more uprated engine which is more fuel efficient and an integrated HOBS missile if HMDS comes online. This might take some time and ala IFR on block 2s, we may see changes mid block. Nothing makes sense to account for the delay.

Interesting. But is the IFR retractable( on closer look possibly not). If so this would be another feather in our cap and another sign of things to come with project Azm. So DERs instead of additional HP (understandable and snesible rather than cramming in additional HP). Also is it just me or do others see something by the sides of the tanks. Are these small diameter bombs or am I hallucinating

The gun should be put somewhere else like that of F-16.....
IR probe is also very necessary but Aselpod is also used as IR pod....

That doesn’t look like a nose hp at all if you look at it carefully. It looks like a hp, below the right intake, just behind (means, a forward right additional hp to mount IRST/EW pod)

One should realize by looking at the picture that the refueling probe is clearly rising after second piece of the canopy while JFT's probe is placed parallel to the canopy. Then how can you see the complete refueling probe through the forward piece of the canopy.

Forget fuel probe. Just look at the module where IFF, INS codes are given. Its the one Thunder uses. I mistook it due to HUD and MFD.
