JF-17 Thunder Multirole Fighter [Thread 7]

Nobody gonna point out why the JF-17 has 1/4th the service life the f-16 does.

Jf has ~4000 hour life like f-16 when it was initially introduce. Same way a-5 had total 1500-1600 hour life but then got package upgrades based on OEM recommendation so did f-7, mirages etc

Labour being cheaper in the third world than say EU and west where upgrades/slep may be almost as expensive as new built one

Now who is going to highlight and tell what is what here. Obviously I am talking about things we normally cannot see in pictures taken from a certain distance. I am talking about small stuff like those spider looking images on the wings leading and rare flaps. That small structure out on top of DSI intake.

The first ones are symbols indicating ''No Step'' signs, the fairing above the intake may be for the provision of IFR Probe.

Looking at mirage and Raad, intake of raad drops out or extends out after launch and is secured in the missiles before launch so there is clearance for it to be carried by jf provided the 3 pylons are cleared for 1100kg class weapons we know they are cleared for 1000 plus kg class weapons.

There was a time when Indians use to convince themselves that US doesn't allow F-16s to train or exercise with JF-17s.

Doee anyone have any good information or any thread which i can delve into

Maybe a dedicated thread for the performance jf-17 has had in the various exercises?

You mean something akin to how IAF's SU-30s destroyed UK RAF's EFTs ? PAF doesn't discloses the results or brags about them.

Even, PAF pitched both air crafts against each other when we were inducting Block I of thunder. In fact viper driver was surprised by the performance of Thunder especially in maneuvering parameters. Indians can however try to keep up with branch of their own comfort.

Would like to know if the Thunder manages to 'kill' the F16 in these mock excersizes....
