Since MAWS is visible above the right intake, my guess is the occasion may have been the rolling out of first production JF-17 Block-II aircraft.

That was my original argument but some PDF experts insisted it was MAWS citing that the auxiliary was at an impossible angle to illuminate the IFR Probe.

MAW sensors.
We have situaitons where we have in the past combined sensors with diffuse illuminators or coaxial beams.

MAWS is integrated into ECM, CMDS, DiRCM with multispectrum ability & clutter rejection provided by AESA. System is redundant & distributed over a wide surface area and not in one or two places.
agreed but I am specifically enquiring about the highlighted piece of equipment installed at the starboard near IFR probe, If I am not interpreting it wrong what you mention earlier (link) means it serve dual purpose as MAWS is embedded with this illuminating installation

I know about this its the old position of MAWS but as per @messiach new installation at starboard might also have MAWS system embedded with it, so I was enquiring about that light cum MAWS
