JF-17 Block-3 -- Updates, News & Discussion

Hi,

The name of the aircraft is SPELLED right---. It is a Black Panther---a singular unit---.

An aircraft is always a singular unit----so even if the sqdrn maybe Black Panthers sqdrn---the aircraft in itself stays Black Panther----.

A pride of lions has a certain name---Mapogo lions---but one lion out of them will always have a singular name---.

It's Black Panthers...the sqd name. Same as Black Spiders or Arrows and the full name is displayed for other squadrons too. Haven't seen a PAF jet with Just Black Spider marking.

I noticed alot of Indian articles on Web in searches , bad mounting JF17 Thunder III crafts as below quality and being a cheap imitation aircraft not even at level of F16 A/B

Also articles from some entity called EuroAsia what ever that is

One article even went to extent to use picture of K-8 and claimed this is the JF17 Program outcome

It was difficult to find true , informative Articles about JF-17 Block III
Which really gave a Steller review of Thunders and highlighted the positives of the Thunder Program

You don't call a single free roaming Black Panther in the jungle as Black Panthers---you call it Black Panther---

Sometime you not only need to cater to customers but also upper management who are inspired by others/competitors or Maybe someone is trying to build noise level in creating an image. Better Marketing People might do the magic we are looking for JF17.

reason behind again comes back to bad marketing. these PAF lads they don't know how to stand, behave and talk (angrezi tak tu seedhi nahin hey) what would they know about marketing and we expect a sale?

ever read a good article about the aircraft in a magazine by a reputable defense analyst?
there is always weightage in those articles and participation at a show bring serious people.

they really need to invite those analysts by sponsoring their visits to Kamra for a detailed visit with technicalities involved.

let them write with total independence and detailed pictures come out. i don't understand what is so unforthcoming, what exceptional they have made which no other fighter plane offer.

read the articles on Gripen, how good they are written. what will cost them by shedding some light on JF-17.
what we hear about block 3 is some words that are ambiguous.

and then hire a professional marketing team. but even they could do no wonder if they are restricted with information and are not allowed to market the product freely.

shed the "ghissi pitti" mentality, like it is a state secret.

because we never bother to work on this aspect ever.

when you yourself call your plane a cheap option, the hell you'll do with it's marketing.

imagine what message it delivers.

The only benefit from this Negative "Marketing" campaign by Indians is to scare off any potential buyers for JF17-Block III, Or prevent bulk orders for JF17-Block III

Just wondering how many Millions are being invested in the negative Marketing campaign against JF-17 Block III

This squadron naming is nothing if not inconsistent. Not to mention the ugliest tail art too lol. No wonder they keep trying to change it.

The BLK3 with its aesa radar / fly by wire system / data link is a 4.5 gen aircraft

AESA Radar upgrade has indeed moved it into F16 C/D level or better considering the weapons now available to carry

Considering Larger Quantity the coverage radius can be compensated with Multiple Airbases having the JF17 Block III deployed so it is generally Sufficient

3,482 km Range is decent , 1,500 km 1 way and 1,500 km return
