F-16 is a medium-weight fighter and JF-17 Thunder is a light-weight fighter. Pakistan needs both weight classes.

Further F-16 inductions can't influence Thunder productions for 300 light-weight requirement.

One question. The red sign on the Air Traffic control building reads "... JF-17 BLK III SINGLE SEAT AIRCRAFT"
that would only make sense if there is also a JF-17 block III DUAL seat aircraft in existance, or is that just hope & semantics?

in this F16 drama the US slipped and fell for no reason.

An arrogant slip. To make it up, they need to offer a squadron of F-35s to PAF and nothing less.

Not only that, i don't think that more BVR missiles under the wing make u win the war. I mean had that been the case then Su30 should never had been shot down as it carries more weapons.
Its not a khota where the one carring more bricks wins. Its the one that can fire the weapon before the other and destroy it and for that it need a good missile, radar, etc.

There is no law that states that a jet carrying 20 missiles under the wing can't be shot down by a single missile.

well the SU30 was not there to engage. The indians were testing paks response.

second its bvr missiles had shorter range

third it was facing intense jamming

4 is an optimal number of Bvr’s on an aircraft

How can Pakistan accelerate it?

Pakistan already had the F-16s which it used as the basis for JF-17 Thunders and this was used to accelerate the program despite warnings from the US to Air Marshal (Retd) Shahid Latif.

To accelerate Project Azm, Pakistan needs to somehow get hold of the F-35 or at least detailed understanding of its technologies to set that as a basis for Project Azm.

Sohail Aman kay waqt may PAF TT was interested kay agar koi mature prototype J31 ka aye aur phir ham usmay with Chinese invest karain resources but that project is still in dev... jiskay delay ki waja se Pakistan ziada investment nahi karna chah raha until kuch positive aye... J31 ka jo ub prototype ayega probably in Feb/Mar 2020, Aap phir Pakistan ki phurtyaan dekhna lol

It's 50-50 chance for both. AESA radars PL-15 and Meteor has leveled the playing field for both.
