Others will argue to the contrary. Anyway, doesn't matter. We have to face current reality. There are many people who were not natives of their current country, doesn't mean much. You think Turks were natives of Constantinople? lol Can go on and on. So we have to deal with the fait accompli and move on.

Yes they are. It's just a change of language. Happens all the time. Previously they spoke Greek, which replaced native Anatolian IE languages, which even earlier replaced native Anatolian non-IE languages.
