Slightly south east of Aomori puts it no where near China, people:coffee:. I just crashed during training ops.

And you seriously think that a jet flying east of Japan could reach China, flying around or over Japan, without detectiono_O? Look where Misawa is, calculate 135km east of that - where the F-35 was reported lost - and then calculate the distance to China's nearest airbase and the likely route you'd have to take to reach it.

You'd have to fly around or over Japan through some of the most monitored and busy airspace, military and commercial. It just crashed bud, nothing else. It happens.

it is stealth jet and can avoid detection if it turn off its radar communication

Stealth duhhh !!!!

Funny thing is it dissappeared from the radar, no mayday calls or anything. Like it switched off the transponders...

Oh for ****'s sake. It crashed just outside of Northern Japan.

Turning off transponders, ceasing communications and all that doesn't make the jet invisible! During peacetime operations they fly with radar reflectors and even during wartime ops they aren't invisible to radar.

That's right. Anyone who thinks 40,000 pounds of metal has the RCS of a fly is delusional.
