This incident could be due to pilot error.

Loss of an expensive machine is painful, and a good pilot even more painful. I recall a case with JF-17 Thunder - the pilot could eject and save himself but he decided to steer his jet away from a crowded place below to save multiple lives - a brave man.

Accidents happen.

This jet was manufactured in Japan, and even though Japanese manufacturing base is really good, I think Japan needs to revisit the relevant factory to ensure TQM practices there.

No doubt, U.S.A is decades ahead than china & Russia. U.S.A completed 250+ F22 stealth , when others were still busy on drawing boards.
Even in our recent conflict , India fears day & night from F16 which is 40+ year old airframes.
Russia + china combine can't even face half navy of U.S.A. About rants it is very easy to say, even iran says "Death to america " daily while it can't even produce own 3rd generation fighters even they have oil & resources.
