Japan Builds Up Military

Just like that, even the Japanese don't care about a lot of things. It has been what, more than 60 years since the second world war? The Americans will not stop Japanese from building up military to a significant level (enough to make you think twice) but not enough to challenge their own superiority. This releases the pressure off American military to take all the trouble and go for defending Japanese. An armed Japan capable to protect itself from any external aggression at this stage is an advantage for the United States. Not a liability.

No problem, let us wait for the USA armed Japan.

America only has the option to stop IT outsourcing in India, but in that case China has a bigger stake to loose coz' a bulk of US manufacturing happens in China.

2, South Korea and Japan will not cooperate with India, they were USA control. India is their bargaining chip, and they are not India's bargaining chip. Clinton said there are four enemies of the USA --- Russia, China, Japan, India.
3, The relationship between China and Japan is complex, China and Japan are competitors, not the enemy. Do you know the economic ties between China and Japan?

Vast majority of export oriented companies in China are domestic, Taiwan and Hong Kong, with some from Japan and Korea. Western companies are mostly here to sell products and contract out the actual manufacturing, they do not own the companies doing the manufacturing.

Nowhere because these plants are not mobile assets. You can't move these machines. If the US companies simply leave (such as if the far right Wall Street regime declares war on us) we can nationalize all the plants and resell them to domestic investors at a cheap price, effectively transfering their assets to ours for free.

Diplomatic relations between China and Japan are not that warm at the moment. At the moment diplomatic relations between China and Japan are not the best. What about 'Senkaku Islands', China's support to North Korea, war crimes by imperial japanese forces?, sino-japanese wars??

This was just diplomatic relations and people to people contact is not that great either. and after all its' people to people to contacts is what unites two nations [US-UK] or divides [India-Pak, China-Japan] two nations.
