I was also wondering the same also some old articles were saying that Pak will have 150 JF-17's by 2015-16. but now looks like only 100 would be in service till 2016.

No funds no aircrafts, but PAF seems it will achieve the objective of 150 by 2020. Other than it no clue how would they procure any other Type even with chanda, aid, loans.

It makes no sense to procure a 4/4.5 Gen fighter after 2019 when your neighbour will start to field the Stealth/Low RCS aircraft. Then it would make sense to invest in Chinese Stealth technology, which in the next 5 years will have BIG improvements.

Last, the issue of funds can be solved within two years.

If Pakistan was to increase Tax collection (like we discussed in the other thread) by 200 Billion rupees (easily achievable) that adds 2 billion dollars per year, year on year. Imagine what that much money can do for armed forces or the nation overall.

Could this type of solution for block III/IV help Pakistan. Ofcourse changes could be made to Airframe but that is what evolution is we saw that on F-16 block 1/5/10 to block 60, saw the idea of F-15SE and now F-18.

sir jee i would love to inform you that ISI direct gen mahmood ahmed send 100,000$ to one of hijacker , and there were many other proves which points fingers on ISI . plus this wot was only about to watch over and limit us in nuclear tech, former COAS mentioned this long time ago .. and at the time of 9/11 which was a inside job plus many states involved all world is with usa if we stand against them we will not even have 1 f-16 ... you not a salve or western armies are not in pakistan only because of mushi ..

Likely upgrades of the "J-10C" (note, the recent "J-10C" photo is unlikely to be that of an actual prototype but rather an older "B" variant or a testbed):
- twin seats
- upgraded engine
- conformal fuel tanks
- new avionics

-All J10C models will be twin seats or just few for training purpose?

-Any additional weapon station in J10C than other models?
