记者了解到，去年该旅换装新型战机，当年就在空军部队同类型战机年终大考中摘得桂冠。目前，该旅累计有6人次夺得“金头盔”。旅领导告诉记者，此次对抗空战训练，他们选派“金头盔”飞行员徐扬担任蓝方，充分发挥磨刀石作用，在危局、险局中锤炼年轻飞行员的心理素质和战术素养。

“敌人不会因为你是新手就仁慈。”该旅领导说，自去年换装新型战机以来，他们始终聚焦实战，严格按照大纲标准抓部队改装训练，用实战需求牵引改装进度，倒逼飞行员主动学习研究，按战场标准完成改装任务。

当日的飞行计划表显示，每一个时段，都有多个课目在不同空域同时展开。1号空域2架红方战机编组进行对地突击，只见长机前出跃升，在高空进行警戒，僚机则趁机低空突防。而在5号空域，一场“1对1”的空战刚刚进行到中距拦截阶段，双方捉对厮杀、互不相让……

I don't think it came down to radar vs. radar. I'm assuming J-10Cs participated in Golden Helmet 2018 and lost to J-16s with the same radar setup. If that's the case then the J-10C team took those lessons to heart and upped their game this year.

The relationship between J-10C and J-20 is just like that of F-16V and F-35.
