And why can't we conclude that it's done for their own benefits??

i mean great salute man and about pakistani making talibans let me correct you on that one the invasion of russia in afghanistan it was not pakistan who suggested to make talibans it was CIA's plan to make a retaliative force against russian attack as USA or any other nuclear country couldn't invtervene so it was a joint operation by CIA funding and ISI training to make talibans because it was in the intrust of both the countries .... to stop russia to come any near to **** border and for USA to end russian might preventing them from controlling the middle east OIL reserves ..............

The US supported the Mujahideen (not the Taliban who formed later) in the past. Pakistan supports the Taliban right now, in this day and age and shows no sign of stopping any time soon. That's the difference.

Yes thats a small price that majority of the world is ready to pay (Why should we be the savior if there is no benefit for us?)..we are a capitalist economy...The last time US stood by doing nothing world war 2 started...If you want a 3rd world war..that upto you..well USA will not let that happen..you can take that to the bank!

I've made many posts in this thread defending the US but if you think your foreign policy is based on altruism you're deluded. Self interest is at its core, just as it is in the foreign policy of every other country.

I second that and also with Power(Sole superpower ) comes a great deal of responsibility..which I think the US is doing. If there is any other way to do it to make everyone happy, believe me the US will do it..but you cannot make everyone happy..this is a imperfect world..lets make do with what we have.

I am not disagreeing with you in regards to self interests!...All I am saying is The carrot here is self interest..at that same time make sure world war 3 does not happen..but on our terms.

You do know that Obama administration developed a cold feet at the last moment despite making a statement after the chemical weapons were used.
As much as they help...they also spread terrorism and take over your resources.Its a 2 edged sword.

Simple question....lets say US takes care of all issues....who is going to pay for expenses...thats the price you pay for protection...now define spread of terrorism...in other words why should I be the guardian for world peace, while I spend all my money..for what..I need some ROI as well..no!

No we are not Angels to the outside world.....Yes I trust the system that I have within the boundaries of the US...How many people can say the same about the justice that they are entitled to as the citizens of their respective countries.
This is the greatest country in the history of mankind for a reason. Now when did the US call anybody a demon....let me see....Saddam/ AQ Network/ISIS/N.Korea/Gaddafi/..and a few others, would you not agree they are all demonic.
