Italian MPs’ panel OKs burqa ban

:hitwall::hitwall: An other example of Hyporacy .............Why they not ban.........NUNS to wear the Burqa.

Because nuns dont wear burqa's. they wear a kind of Hijab. Buqa = Face covered Nikab = face shown. Nikab = not banned. Burqa = banned.

Dude....Indian women like your mom and Aunts wear Sarees or Salwar Kameez.Try making them wear anything else.If a woman is used to something she will continue irrespective of whether it's a burqa, miniskirt or saree. Thats her personal choice and fundamental right.

in india you can't even force a girl Salwar Kameez now , they are more comfortable in jeans Tshirt.....
and don't think that ladies in rest of the muslim world like to be in a discomfort outfit by choice...

Post Vatican II nuns do not have to wear the 'habit', the well known head-to-toe dress.

America Magazine - Confessions of a Modern Nun
...Rome is unhappy with so-called post-Vatican II nuns who have donned secular clothes...
Generally, after Vatican II, only the most devout and usually oldest orders will require their nuns to wear the 'habit'. Else the nuns can wear secular clothes, the very modest kind. You can pass by one such nun without even knowing it.

People can get "unused" to things just as easily as they get used to something. Nobody continues with the same sort of dress sense forever. If that was the case, there would be no evolution in the type of clothing we wear. Eg: Nobody in India wears the same clothes that were worn just a couple of hundred years back.

They dont want the children of these people to get used to it. They could care less about what one generation wants.

Not denying that. But forcing one to do it is not the way. Many Girls today do not wear the Hijab or the Burqa. 10 years down the line that number will go down even further. But banning an outfit is ridiculous.
It's akin to France's ban on the turban.

If burqas are allowed; balaclava & skimasks should also be allowed in public. Hiding one's identity in public place should be open for everyone.

In Kerala, the no:of Muslim women wearing burqa are increasing eventhough burqas were never a part of Muslim culture in Kerala. This was mostly due to the gulf influence and the rise of Muslim radical parties.

Are you telling me ski masks are banned?

Are you telling me ski masks are banned?

Try this in the summers - go to a store wearing a ski-mask... chances are - you will be shot in the face.

If not that, then you will be escorted to the police station with full protection (can't say how polite they will be to you).

every country should ban them vaise bhi in india muslim girls dont wear them these days

yeah Indian girls do not wear generally but at some religious occasion they do
But most of the married ones wear it
