What's new

Italian MPs’ panel OKs burqa ban

then why man putting their nose in the freedom of choice of a lady..

Have you even asked a lady if she wants to go without wearing a Burqa? She's used to it. It would be like asking a traditional Indian woman (like your parent or aunt) to not wear a Saree. You realize how uncomfortable they can get? Like Rezavan said Islam does not say you have to wear the Burqa. But women willingly do so. If they want to, allow them!!! Italy is not an nation where a man can force a woman to wear the Burqa.

.
Did you ask?? Did you make a survey from women around the world?? or are you only basing this on what TV and the Movies and hate Articles have told you?

i didn't ask anybody , but way back when i was in collage i saw it that muslim girls carry their burqua in their bags where ever they had plans to see a movie....

every lady like to wear comfortable outfit , first ask the ladies of your home to wear saree whole day and you will get a fitting reply..

I've seen some in Malaysia. No joke. Very rare, but I've seen them.

I heard it's very common in Afghanistan and Arab, hence that's why i'm saying no one should be forced to wear it.

I'm talking about the Burqa by the way, not Hijab. For the unaware, google both to know the difference between them.

When it comes to the Arab world in particular.... Do not believe anything from anybody who did not see the Arab world first hand and you trust to not have an unbiased opinion....for god's sakes they still depict saudi arabians as still living in the fricking desert......

And you understood entire Islam and the whole 1.4 Billion Muslims of the world from this observation???

the world is doing everything to reduce the influence of Islamic culture. but to no avail. islam will continue to grow........

Cultures & traditions can be wrong. Hindus behaved the same way when the British outlawed Sati. Many argued on similar lines. Believe it or not, there were many cases of women voluntarily committing Sati. A couple of centuries later, there are no Hindus to be found defending the concept of Sati. You have to look at the cultural context of a given period to understand why people "prefer" doing & defending the "unreasonable". Same here, there are no excuses for women being bundled up from head to toe & certainly not in Europe. Freedom of choice should not be accepted as the argument here. There is usually no choice within a particular culture due to the pressure inherent within that particular society. Until there is a complete break from that societal milieu, chances are that true choice can never really exist.

Lol. Yeah, i guess so. Never been to Arab myself, most of my info comes from my aunt who works in Jeddah.

I believe it's an official law in Arab that women must be covered from head to toe, only face and hands can be visible. Is this true?

Same old rhetoric , same old arguments , same old answers. Europeans are not going to stop their bigoted twin faced actions , all we have to do is to sit and wait , rise of the far right extremists in EU will deliver the final blow to the Europe.

Yes its true. They are still working on their women to drive the silver Audi's in the garage. Making huge buildings does not change what everyone see's there. They do have a backyard to play in. Dubai.

and you need to put the lady in burqa to grow that culture , why not put the same burqa on you man...

I always thought it was exactly the opposite of what you just said. Everyone can practice their freedoms within their own house and their respective countries. No one can hold hostage someone elses culture and freedom. Either make the burkas terrorist free or deal with the solution.

i think what is meant by personal choice is , if it only affects your personal life ...
there is no ban on enkle high payjams that musilm man were , coz that didn't affect social security.....simple as it !!

Dude....Indian women like your mom and Aunts wear Sarees or Salwar Kameez.Try making them wear anything else.If a woman is used to something she will continue irrespective of whether it's a burqa, miniskirt or saree. Thats her personal choice and fundamental right.

Have you even seen the outfits men wear in the Gulf? If you did you wouldn't ask that question. Lungi's are banned there. Last time I checked Lungis are worn by men.

Just like women, men should wear loose, long and non-transparent clothing so as not to attract attention from the opposite gender to their physical appearance. Men are not required to cover their hair, but many Muslim men do, with turbans or keffiyahs. Scholars have agreed that it would be befitting for a Muslim man to wear long trousers and longer-sleeved shirts when in the presence of women whom they may marry. "Less is More" is the golden rule for Hijab. Men should also avoid dressing like women.

:hitwall::hitwall: An other example of Hyporacy .............Why they not ban.........NUNS to wear the Burqa.
