Italian MPs’ panel OKs burqa ban

Mosamania

Pakistan has women fighter pilots.

Do they wear the burkha?

If not, why not?

After all, there is no all women fighter aircraft base, or have they got that too?

How many such women do you know, who have converted to Islam (especially in a non-Islamic society) and are now wearing full veiled burqa etc 1-2-5? and now compare that to number of women who have migrated to a non-Islamic society (UK/US etc) and given up the full veiled burqa

Sit they are in thousands in Ameirca in Euorpe and even in India and most of have migrated to western countries are stiill wearing Hijab as a matter of fact many who use to not cover their face or even wear Hijab have started to wear it after they shifted to western countries

they should and for your information Pakistan has withdrawn the women fighter pilots

Where is the so-called "Freedom" in the West?

Doesn't the Muslims also have the right to wear whatever they like?

First of all, you pictures shows all women with the veil lifted in Saudi.

What did you expect?

They are shy of girls also?

Next, who says it is for the museum?

Why give a lame excuse?

First: Who knows better Saudi Arabia me or you?
Second: how do you know this is not a common scene in Jeddah?
Third:Again who knows better Saudi Arabia me or you?
Fourth: Yes an Arabic house "the curtains" a person would strike a pose in something which is suppose to be ordinary?? This is an Old Jizani Hijab btw.

Lol you brought something that was shot during some sort of a joke picture as proof. at first I thought it was out of some museum I never seen a woman dress like this. This is what the put in museums now a days.

My college frnds use to wear it. (Black Burqua), After reaching college (girls common room) they remove this Black cloth and use to redress themselves in western attire... They were wearing it only to satisfy their father and brother (OMG) religious adamant nature..

The purpose of wearing is of when men are around going to the (girls common room) ofcours they will remove there is no need to put it on anymore.

And your point? I explained a thousand times it is different from one area of Saudi Arabia to the next and I also explained how I do not like some of the laws here in Saudi Arabia either didn't I? You just put something I already said.

And also if you notice the Hijab in that picture had a net and a closed front with double layer that is old Jizani Hijab. This one does not again you are proving my point.

This video is the answer to those so called champions of women right on this forum:azn:

This is wrong. And it comes with under-education it is not Islam's fault not by any means. So if there are Indians who are under-educated who's fault is that?

Do not blame a religion as an entity over what its practitioners do. Religion is one thing and people who are under this religion is completely another. You should study the religion on its self rather than "LOOK" for fault in its practitioners so you can blame it on the religion. Does not matter what it is.

The difference why Islam is today looked upon "the way you do" is because when a Muslim does something wrong it is "Islam's fault" not his while if the same thing happens from another one of a different faith it is "The person's fault not his belief's"

Rightly said, But the people who force burqa on their wives/sisters/daughters justify the same using Islam's name. Atleast in India progressive and educated Muslim women don't wear full veiled burqa, the poor and the uneducated do (either forced or fooled), the burqa becomes and remains one of the reasons of their backwardness and illiteracy

The state should intervene if they feel that the rights of their citizens are infringed. For example the legal age for a girl to marry in India is 18 years. I'm sure that 95% of parents in India would not marry off their daughters before 18yrs, but to deter the rest of 5%( and to save their daughters from early marriage)a law is required. Same can be applied to the burqa ban so as to save the girls mentioned above from the highhandness of the male members of their family.

here is another one :chilli:

No you said those sorta burqa belong to Museum and no one wears them, and instead showed the photos of Saudi woman with face uncovered, which is not the case as can be seen in the other photos.

Besides as you said yourself, it not just about the 20 million Saudi Muslims. There are 1.4 Billion other Muslims, and that sorta Burqa is worn by many of them. Just getting rid of a net doesn't make one modern and the other one antique.
