Do Asthma patients have chance of Clearing ISSB ? . Does initial or final medical exam for ISSB contains check for asthma. ?? . Can we dodge the instructions and keep it a secret ?? .

I needed info on this so that's why I mentioned so many users.

No you can't get away with asthma.. not even in initial.
Even if you get through there, the first step of final medical includes ECG and any such problems will be caught.
Also the medical specialist also checks your heart and pulse.

I myself have experience, just 2 weeks ago approx.

There wasn't a asthma patient with us giving medical and I haven't heard case but on medical form they ask whether u have asthma or not and they check all this mentioned on medical form so .. it gets caught.

Can anyone with self harmscars on arms join? Which are 5 years old? I am son of ex army officer so any favours in this regard? Need advices so that i do something about it

The psychiatrist checks arms for cut marks during final medical .. Skin specialist also.. so you could do something.. like cover up ..
For example, in our initial medical a boy had cuts at arms because he was from sindh and had been kidnapped and tortured .. You could say that too but u will have to cover it properly

I don't think telling him to lie or "cover it up" is suitable advice at all. Why start off with lie..why base your career on a lie.

Don't be dishonest and please seek help.

He will be declared unfit by psychiatrist if he says truth ..
Or he can go with the truth but then defend it that he has left such habits.

I did that when i was 12 so yeah the main thing is to go through the initial medical.
Im 18 now and away from all that
Was a mistake which i made without considering the consequences
Just want to know whether there is a slightest chance of clearing medical?

Are you comfortable sharing why you started self harm at 12?
Did you see a psychologist or psychiatrist?

It was'nt a case of some stress
No one believes that i did this because of some bad company
Had a bet with some of my friends that who can do it
Did that but was not aware of the consequences back then
No one believes this because mostly its done because of some mental breakdown

But i dont think they will believe mt story
