Do we have anything to launch +4 ton load in GS orbit? That would be an important tech required if human mission and beyond is the plan.

Open source info says that it is capable of sub 4 ton payload.
That is the reason India used Ariane to launch a load last year.

GSLV Mk III is designed to carry 4 ton class of satellites into Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO) or about 10 tons to Low Earth Orbit (LEO), Gaganyaan mission is planned to be launched using GSLV MK III

Ok.

+4 Ton launch capability remains a key challenge to ISRO. That would be also required for bigger missions.

you don’t and your fellow Indian member said your guys don’t need it :rofl:

@Smarana Mitra care to explain?
Yeah that dude was claiming ISRO don't need heavy lift rockets and that they don't want to develop it that's why they haven't developed one long ago. I don't know what kind of logic he was using, since their space agency defibtely needs one and they have been working hard for a while now to develop one. He needs a reality check 🤦🏽

inferiority complex makes people go to extremes to explain the things they can’t do , no shame
