ISRAEL'S PR VICTORY SHAMES NEWS BROADCASTERS

Don`t worry Papershark, the feeling is mutual.
Your host country is one of the most Pro-Israeli countries in the world, if you were not aware. Your uneducated mind is amusing, seems like you`re not very well learned in the Israeli-Arab conflict, but i honestly don`t care about that.
Israel already is a military Great power in the middle east and is second to none. Even before the US became an ally of ours we had already crushed multiple Soviet backed Arab armies, not to mention the 6 Day War which the name speaks for itself.
The reason why the US calls us their greatest ally and best friend is because they saw in us what you clearly do not, the game changer in the Middle East.
Israel accounts for more than 10% of all Military sales in the world.
Israel has one of the best Air Forces in the world, rivaled only by few.
Israel has crushed any and every enemy that dared attack us shamelessly on our Holiest day in the year, mercilessly and with pure cowardliness killed our women and children, and attacked us from every direction during truces.
Israel is one of the most developed countries in the world with a GDP of 30K USD nominal per capita.
Israel has crushed enemies that outnumbered her a hundredfold, that had every single advantage, but it always came out victorious.
This country is only getting stronger day by day, friend.

Welcome to the discussion! I knew you'd jump in. First of all, let me give credit where credit is due. I want to say I admire all that Israel has been able to accomplish after the disaster of the Holocaust. Israel has shaped itself from people without a homeland to the leading technological power of the Middle East.

However, the mean by which Israel has accomplish this task--the usurpation of the Palestinian homeland, the mass murder of Arabs in Palestine, the wholesale dislocation and ghettoization, the endless retaliatory war and punitive bombing, the ceaseless blockade and persecution of the Palestinian people is morally unjustifiable. Jews are repeating the atrocity perpetrated by Hitler on another innocent people.

By supporting such a violent regime that commits the most shameful of human rights violations, Canada and the US deserve the greatest scorn. I am personally ashamed of my country's (Canada's) unabashed support for the persecution of Palestinians by the hand of Israel. And China should come out and condemn the west's bald double standard of supporting Israel while claiming to champion human rights. The west has no claim to moral high ground as long as innocent schoolchildren are being shot by Israeli soldiers.

Israel is not even a part of the Olympic Council of Asia anymore. They left the Asian organization to join the European Olympic Committees back in the 1970's.

Duh! Israel was kicked out of the Asian games due to protests from Arab countries. China lifted not a finger to include Israel. That goes to show how strong and glowing the relationship between the two countries are. Hint: irony.

.
Yeah nah I wasn't really commenting about China, I was just commenting about his bs of being morally repugnant. He is probably the first "Chinese" I have come across with such hate for Israel. I thought China and Chinese were all about not interfering in others internal matters. Guess not

I don't hate Israelis or Jews. I hate the state of Israel's genocidal policies against Palestinians.

. .
And people in Kashmir know who to thank for their plight, and the starving Indians know which incompetent government to blame for their plight, and the people of Iraq and Afghanistan know which imperial warmonger to blame for their plight. The world is full of injustices. I have every right to speak of the pressing injustice being committed against Palestinians by the terrorist state of Israel.

Uh, you said and I quote, "Great relations, like China not inviting Israel to the Asian Games?". So you were obviously talking about the Asian Games, 2010. Since Israel hasn't even been part of the Olympic Council of Asia(OCA) for the past 40 years or so, it would be quite odd if China invited Israel. Its like China inviting Australia to Guangzhu cause it has good relationship with the latter. Sorry to tell you, but it doesn't work that way. If China was so anti-Israel it should have stopped Israel from participating in the Beijing Games.:azn:

Besides safety concerns was one of the major reason why Israel had to leave the OCA, specially after what happened at 72 Munich Games.

I don't hate Israelis or Jews. I hate the state of Israel's genocidal policies against Palestinians.

Put yourself in their shoes and see if you can still hate Israel.

That would be Islamic terror sponsored by Pakistan under the shadow of illegal nuclear proliferation by China.

Yes, there is injustice in the world, more than 50 millions being killed in the name of making the "giant leap" for example! Or the cultural revolution! Or the state farming human organs in the state prisons.

Yes, injustices are everywhere and hopefully things will get better rather than worse.

I have put myself in their shoes, and I still deplore Israel. I just don't have your talent for moral blindness. Thankfully, that's not a trait I admire.

You have talked about everything except Israel's atrocities, the topic of this discussion. Deflecting does not impress anyone.

I'm talking about the entire history of Asian Games. You need to work on your English comprehension skills. Crafting such an elaborate theory on what you think I thought based on one of my sentence shows your incompetence and your paranoia.

Seriously. I can't get over the insensitivity of your comment. What you said is like saying "put yourself in Hitler's shoes and see if you still think the Jews deserve to live". Hitler is evil by any standards. As is Israel's attempt to erase the state of Palestine from existence by usurping their lands.

And here I thought India had a rich history of ethical thought. If you're any example, then I was wrong about India.

Well do you condemn China doing business with the murderous regime of Sudan? Cause if you do then I respect you views on Israel too. Consistency is good, but hypocrisy, I just can't hack that.

Agree, no need to deflect like you did by bringing in Kashmir.

On topic, I think Israel is in a tough spot and so are the Palestinians. One would hope for a two state solution with a viable Palestine.

Israel does act too heavy handed at times. I guess they figure that is the only way for them to survive in that region. Arabs have not been able to give them the confidence that they accept their presence and even their lives.

China plays a positive role in Sudan and Africa by developing its economy without acting like a european colonialist.

Southern Sudanese hip-hop star Emmanuel Jal noted that China was seen positively by Sudanese and Africans due to its non interference policy, only doing business, saying- "The Chinese don't influence our politics, They don't comment on it, and what they want, they pay for -- sometimes double the amount. This tends to make all Africans happy -- from the dictators to the democrats, There isn't a party in Africa that doesn't like them. Even if you're a rebel movement and you say to them you can secure gold, the Chinese will simply say they want to buy it. The only foreign policy advice I heard from China was when they said to Sudan, 'Don't go back to war.' That's all they said. They didn't push anything else."

China is also the last country to want a war in Sudan and is actively working to difuse the conflict.

BEIJING, May 23 (Xinhua) -- China is paying attention to recent conflicts in Sudan's Abyei area, and urges north and south Sudan to solve their differences through negotiation and consultation, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Jiang Yu said Monday in a statement.

"China hopes the two sides can adhere to peace and restrain themselves to solve their divergence through negotiations and consultations on the basis of mutual understanding and mutual accommodation and implement the Comprehensive Peace Agreement," Jiang said.

"This is conducive to the long-lasting peace in Sudan and to safeguarding regional peace and stability," Jiang said.

Tensions have increased in Abyei after a Sudanese army convoy and UN peacekeepers were attacked in the area Friday morning, which resulted in the death of 22 Sudanese soldiers.

The Sudanese Armed Forces on Saturday controlled Abyei after violent clashes with Sudan People's Liberation Army have continued since the initial attack.

Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir on Saturday issued a Republican Decree dissolving the Abyei administration.

Unrest has plagued the Abyei area since the people of Southern Sudan voted for independence in a referendum held on Jan. 9.

South Sudan is due to become independent on July 9, but Abyei is still claimed by both sides.

Simply speaking, your attempt to compare Israel's occupation of Palestine with China developing Sudanese economy is bizarre.

It took you two posts to reply to one post of mine, shows who is lagging in the comprehension department:lol: Its like you got the grasp of the content gradually. Anywho debate can be done without these snide remarks and personal attacks.

You are just looking at one side of the picture. Say if Taiwan and its people hate the guts of Mainland Chinese, and want China and its people to be obliterated, what would China do? Sit there and wait for its dooms day? Or say if tomorrow the Tibetans go China has occupied our land, and starts sending barrage of rockets into Chinese cities what would China do?
