It matters, they do not have endless time, materials and soldiers, especially when north is hot and pummeling their forces on tactical level with great consequences.

What Hamas is doing is nonsense.

What did Hamas achieve?

It advanced the Palestinian cause more then at any point in the last 40 years

The Palestinians are under OCCUPATION and subjugation and they are oppressed

The Palestinian and Jew population is now equal but millions of Palestinians have no freedom or independence

And NOTHING was being done to help Palestinians gain independence and freedom


What they were trying to do was give Israel a normal life and try to make relations with Muslim states and countries in the region with joint projects in the pipeline

Because they understood Israel cannot be isolated in the region and survive with a growing Palestinian population



Hamas basically tore this plan apart, with one operation

Israel is under attack, the Jews are under pressure and regional and international hatred of Israel is sky high



Taking over gaza, a tiny strip of land with tanks and jets and western support isn't some great feat and it doesn't make you a prophetic genius, it's freaking obvious
