Israeli military most powerful in Middle East, says study

No matter how you try to cut it, Israel's "Most powerful" BS only stems from its last century's military performance, which was admirable to say the least, but in the 21st century Israel has shown a level of incompetence and almost lack of experience recently.

The only thing people are glorifying Israel on is "reputation", however I wouldn't bet on the IDF recently in any encounter honestly.

Maybe because the last war Israel had with a nation state was in 1973 with Egypt? Since then Israel is in asymmetrical conflict which is different to state to state.

Usa have 2 states out of mainland; Alaska and Israel... So without Usa protection (politically in the first place, economic, military and secret agreements ) Israel just can't keep its might for a long time due to its geo-politic/strategical position... As simple as 2+2...

How about Hawaii? Ignorant!

You have a point there, but what I am talking about here is current capabilities. And you don't carry history books and fire with it at an enemy to win a conflict.

And as I said earlier, previous Israeli military is admirable and quite honestly astounding and I don't deny that not for one second, however I am questioning Israeli capability to win a war that it fails to direct in the first 24 hours, something which I understand why the Israeli war doctrine revolves around.

However what is plan B if a country say Saudi Arabia was successful in countering the initial Israeli assault, then what? Immediately start lobbing nukes?

You know what I just realized why Israel was adamant in acquiring nuclear capability, for exactly that. Which in a certain way proves what I said earlier that Israel has no strategic depth for which to rely upon had Plan A failed.

Unless you are an complete idiot, or just trolling.

I believe the former.

We don't need our front-line tanks for ISIS..moreover, engaging ISIS outside of Turkey isn't our headache. We'll act the way we like. Irrelevant, small, backwater nations like sweden need not to worry.

You'll see our response if ISIS tries to systematically "invade" our land or becomes threat to our national interests...

If the plans are to sit on your behinds, Volvos are better.

You can believe whatever you want. Noone denies you the right to make you look like a fool.

Before you continue you should know that this guys isnt a Turk but a false flagger, allready told it to mods numerous times but noone of them seems to care about forum rules, and people are asking why this forum became full of trolls... :coffee:

its powerful b/c of the endless support it gets from US Congress and the Office of the Executive, not to mention the PACs, lobby groups and corporations that comprise America and power it.

if the Arabs were actually united and not bogged down by tribal/political/sectarian crap and used strategy rather than emotions - israel would never have had a chance to be the bully...but then something happened

to the israeli credit - theyre educated, work hard, are united (out of necessity) and are excellent at PR....maybe the Arabs should adapt

Next study would probably be about U.S. Army being strongest military in America.

Again, last war between countries Israel fought 41 years ago.
Israel in possession of nuclear weapon since 1966 and that is if. Israel didnt use nuclear weapon during last war with Egypt which was hardest, since then Israel became much stronger.

Noone is going to use Nukes if it isnt about the survival (well, except US) but i dont remember Israel fighting for its survival, in any war they had the overhand.

Israel is not that strong, although in paper she looks good. In the last two wars she had with Hezbollah and with Hamas recently has shown weaknesses in a strategy used 80 years ago. I don't think Israel can fight a war longer than two weeks against a comparable foe, even with the help the US gives her by having her own capabilities at the disposal of Israel.

Good luck. By then Israel would have beaten Islamist Turkey by miles. PS: They also have nukes :D
Turkey too has nukes, a very well guarded secret...
Usrael without US support is very weak, if the US withdraws it support , Usrael won't stand for more than 48 hours on a battlefield against a powerful armed forces, like Egypt or Turkey. It is a fact, no one should doubt it. Only the blind minded ones will think that Usrael has the most powerful military in the middle east, while in reality it is the US...which is not geographically part of the middle East but its presence has been permanent.

What are your facts for that admiration? The unprovoked air assault on the Egyptian air-force bases in 1967 or the lies about the 1973 war. Either way your admiration is misplaced.
I will reserve the word astounding to the initial attack by the Egyptian and Syrian armies in 1973, for the sole reason that its still being studied in war colleges all over the world.

Really, need evidence.
Do some search on the net, much evidence was provided previously on different threads on this forum.
It shouldn't be difficult to find the evidence... on the net (my advice!), too many people got their throats slushed or just disappeared from earth trying to find the evidence on the ground.
You can start from the 90 or so 250 kt (adjustable to more or less kt) consigned to Turkey, with some sixty completely in the hands of Turks, and the rest in the hands of US troops in Turkey.
