The reason that the Iranian regime (as well as most Muslim people) want Israel destroyed is because of a mosque in Jerusalem that is of cultural and religious value to Muslims. Other than that, Israel as a land is quite worthless for any country that wants to create an empire here, be it Turkey or Iran.

2- Assuming that it happened as told, why are politicians sensitive about it and do not let historians research it independently? What are they hiding?
3- If the freedom of speech in Europe allows offending and mocking other people's religious beliefs, why anyone that diverts slightly from the dictated version of the Holocaust is persecuted and imprisoned in some European countries like France?

The third question was brought up when Europeans kept drawing caricatures of the Prophet of Islam and accused him of rape, adultery and pedophilia under the excuse of "freedom of speech"; accusations that rightly enraged Muslims and caused a lot of hysteria at the time. - critisise homosexuality. Orthodox Christians have been completely sidelined and will loose their jobs. We can't even debate it.
- discuss Israel and brutality against Palestinian people. We get labelled antisemitic.
- discuss the woke concept of pronouns and the gender, male athletes competing alongside women etc.
- exposing school children to sex/ homosexuality. Parents are not allowed to intervene l.

List is quite long. We are not allowed to discuss any of that without the risk of loosing jobs.
