Merkava can only be regarded as an infantry fighting vehicle, not a tank.
Tanks don't have engines in front of them, and tanks have composite armor, but Merkava doesn't. What's more, Merkava even installed mortars and a crew compartment.

Tanks are mainly used for rapid assault, while infantry combat vehicles are mainly used to support infantry and urban warfare. Think for yourself what Merkava's design is for.

They won't do shit once EW unit soldiers would give the coordinates of the control rooms they're being operated from and an F-35 drops a 500kg bomb on them.
They won't do shit once people realize garbage Iranian drones don't have satellite control so they either need to be preprogrammed against a fixed target or have a control room within 200km of the drone (Easily within Israeli detection range)

Ironically, only one of these mentioned weapons are EVER meant to face Iran or be used in any engagement with it.
The IAF and EW capabilities have and will be the focus of any offensive actions.

How come F-35 isn't mentioned? As for the article, i think the greatest fear for Iran would be US joining in. That would significantly tilt the balance towards Israel. Adding to that the fact that Iran does not have nuclear weapons while both US and Isreal do with the former actually the only country to ever use it against a nonnuclear country, and later with first use policy should put Iran at a significant disadvantage.
