Let's wait and see how offensive the IDF is going to be against them in the next round.

Yes it did, and it will again if a war happens. It's one their tactics to target civilians to force their enemy stop fighting.
But I believe Hezbollah today is powerful enough to make Israel think twice before invading Lebanon. They may not be able to defeat Israel completely, but they are a good detterance, especially after the 2006 war.

Palestinians didn't fight Israelis in 1967. PS, it was Israel who invaded Arabs in 1967, not the other way around. Well, you can call it "pre-emptive strikes" if you want. But still it doesn't justify Israeli occupation of West Bank, a phenomenon driven by religious extremism instead of some strategic reasons.

And what sort of trickery it is for four countries 10 times bigger and resource-rich than Israel combine an attack against them?

Even then they fought back and pummelled their enemies.

It is a straight win.

U.N has also termed Israeli occupation of West Bank as illegal and imperialistic in nature. That is why the "settlements" are called "illegal settlements" by everyone. Again, Palestinians did not even invade Israel to begin with...

There are also many such illegal things around the world that the UN is ignoring for the sake of petty politics of some or the other members of the P5.

So you shouldn't be telling that as well.

US tried to ratify Chechnya as an 'occupied' state as well.

But because it was Russia that was opposing them, things didn't go that bad.

Does that make it occupied then?

You, being an indian, should not justify imperialism..even if it soothers your feelings when seeing Muslims getting beaten up by another group in some part of the world.

All I am stating that is UAR countries attacked Israel with their allies and Israel made multiple successful pre-emptive strikes against them AFTER having declared a war. Now if the generals of these countries were using the military to parade and show off power in their own country, that is not Israel's problem.

Israel was aware of the war at their doorsteps and they took adequate measures to stop it.

The territory they gained or lost is fair and square in terms of war bounty.

If you guys can capture our territory and keep it using the victim card, I don't see how Israel cannot keep what they won in pure war.

Just because Israel provide india with some fancy weapons, it doesn't require you to justify their crimes.

It's more than that.

It was won back by Egypt through a mixture of successful Military action and smart diplomacy. Israelis didn't just "give it back as charity" as you are trying to put.

Yeah yeah we all know how they 'won' it in war. It was NOTHING but diplomacy at its best that enabled the territories to be returned

It was a win-win situation for Israel and Egypt...

So how exactly did the Egyptians 'win' it in a war as you claimed it above?

It was diplomacy that saw mutual benefits for both the countries.

In case of Israel-Palestine, Israel is an imperialist power...a colonial hegemon that is taking Palestinians' rights away, and oppressing them. A fact.

Only to Arab countries and those who think that they are Arabs. Not to rest of the world.

Even Israelis know it...for fcuks sake!

Do you admit doing the same thing in 1948 then? Do you admit your new ally doing the same thing in 1962?

In a war, it is not a picnic surrounding.

What you win in combat is yours.

Either it is a fair return of territories and solving mutually, or it the winner keeps it all.

Simple.

No country, NOT even yours would care if you were in Israel's place.

Would you trade the territories that you won from a war where your soldiers bled for it?

Not in hell, you won't.

So, please don't try to justify which Israelis themselves accept.

I never denied anything that you're saying except that 'it is imperialist'. All I am saying is that if you can keep others' territories after war, Israel is as much within its rights to do the same when it is faced with a war against enemies.

No, I wrote this because I know Israel won't go easy to Al Qaeda...America still went easy on them..Israelis are "mad dogs" ...I wonder how they'll respond to a massive Al Qaeda attack, if that ever happens...

THAT is exactly what we Indians like about them.

It is not just weapons supply and FTA we have with them. Like I said, it is more than that.

They repeatedly prove that they won't bow down to jehadi attacks and exact grim retribution for every Israeli killed.

That's the reason why you hate their guts and precisely the reason why Indians admire or you could say, envy their abilities to strike back against their enemies.
