Israeli attack will prompt Pakistani response'

Hypothetically what if India decides to work with Pakistan to defend Iran for personal interested such as to prevent the economy from collapsing as a result of oil inflation. Id imagine if a sinereo like this happens in any parallel universe the world would change drastically because there would drastic changes which have to lead up to this and would result from this.

This thread is kind of repeating itself thought I'd thow this in and see what you guys think and how your react.... remember purely hypothetical....

No pakistani official made explicit statement that they would support iran. Its just a foreign diplomat speculating.

I think pakistanis know that they cannot get involved in another war.

Spot on buddy. And that goes for India too. Neither India nor Pakistan can afford to get involved in a war which does not directly involves us. India has her task cut out though. Having refused to be cowed down by US threats and opting to continue with Iranian oil, India now has to throw her weight behind efforts to prevent a war from happening. A war involving Iran will disrupt our oil supplies and totally screw up matters. I see that India has aligned itself with Russia and China in this regard, that is the only way to prevent a war in the Persian gulf. Let us hope that Brazil and South Africa also join in the fray.

lol what weapons can pakistan give to Iran ? name a few ? when they can get better ones from Russia why would they go for pakistani or even chinese ?

US has been watching pakistan closely these days would pakistan risk its neck for Iran ? won't your weapons get detected by American and Israeli agencies ?

because wouldn't chinese and russian weapons be detected by american agencies? especially if they're airlifted. the safest way to go is illegally smuggling to iran

Pakistan got JF-17 which Iran has wanted to buy for a while. Pakistan got good tanks. Pakistan got good missiles but Iranians are prety self sufficient in that field anyway. Naval vessels and submarines although Iran already knows how to make those. But Pakistan got numbers and influence which goes a long way.

Americans can't do a jack **** if the weapons are Russian or even chinese.

well your point taken pakistan can act like a highway for weapons transport from Russia- china- pak -Iran. and may be some trained mujhadeens for mountain warfare.

1>Israel deliver 1st blow to Iran then every other country will start to deliver strike package from Nato to US to saudis .
2>Pakistan try to attack Israel which is highly unlikely as you don't have reach nor the guts to fight Israel when Daddy India breathing around your neck.It doesn't take long when you see Su 30mki and mirage 2k breaching LOC ..
3>Once NATO , US and Arabs take control of Situation ,its time for Israel to take on Pakistan and by looking at Pakistan and Israel military strength.Does it takes more than 6days untill Pakistan fell on her knees ?

my scenario

1. iran delivers first blow to israel by unexpected nuke, israel economy left in shambles, most of population sick of radiation

2. USA attacks iran by bombing tehran and other major cities and might even drop an nuke

3. iran retaliates by dirty delivering an atomic bomb into USA

4. iran is destroyed

5. pakistan takes over iran, india whines

6. pakistan gets kashmir back with diplomatic support

7. jf-17 block II come in india territory and knock every nuclear reactor out

8. indians call themselves pakistanis at the end.

European diplomat based in Islamabad says Israeli strike would force Pakistan to support Iranian retaliation, while EU official says 'political and economic consequences of attack would be catastrophic for Europe'


Is the world counting down to "D-Day"? After US Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta estimated that Israel would attack Iran by June, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned government officials against "Iran chatter," A European diplomat based in Pakistan said that if Israel attacks, Islamabad will have no choice but to support any Iranian retaliation.

The diplomat's statement raised the specter of putting a nuclear-armed Pakistan at odds with Israel, which is widely believed to have its own significant nuclear arsenal.


To some, the greatest risk of an attack was to the moribund world economy. Nick Witney, former head of the EU's European Defense Agency, said "the political and economic consequences of an Israeli attack would be catastrophic for Europe" since the likely spike in the price of oil alone "could push the entire EU, including Germany, into recession."

He said this could lead to "messy defaults" by countries like Greece and Italy, and possibly cause a collapse of the already-wobbly euro.


Witney, a senior fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations, added that "the Iranians would probably retaliate against European interests in the region, and conceivably more directly with terrorism aimed at Western countries and societies."

Meanwhile, Iran continued to raise the bar, a senior Revolutionary Guard commander on Sunday warned that the Islamic Republic will target any country where an attack against it is staged.


Gen. Hossein Salami, deputy commander of the elite Revolutionary Guard, Iran's most powerful military force, did not elaborate. His comments appeared to be a warning to Iran's neighbors not to let their territory or airspace be used as a base for an attack.

On Friday, Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, called Israel a "cancerous tumor that should be cut and will be cut," and boasted of supporting any group that will challenge the Jewish state.
