I think the Israelis will be only really concerned if China would give it's best weapon's they have right now & the future to it's enemy's like Iran.

The PLAAF should step up the scale of those exercises. They should be able to do such thing in the future, hopefully. I mean, there are so many things that haven't been factored. They need to incorporate the J-16, J-15, KJ-200, all the ECM support they can get, long range bombers, as well as surface to air simulations in order to emphasize on the coordination and C4ISR usage of military equipment. I'm pretty sure that a fleet of 4.5 generations, all linked by AWACS, supported by long range airpower (i.e. ALCM) will be a very useful component in the future of such combat.

Here's what I am proposing (personally) for the next round of PLAAF exercises:

- Full integration of J-16, J-15, and such fighters
- C4ISR completion by the addition of KJ-2000, KJ-200, etc
- Long range bomber complement
- Use of satellites (reconnaissance)
- The full use of proving ranges such as the Gobi desert
- Live ammunition training (bombing)
- Enhanced air to air engagment using multiple scenarios and battlefields

What a ridiculous title. I've read the article and "Israel" is not even mentioned more than once in the article itself(That too not even related to the articles). It's about what the Chinese are doing and what they've accomplished so far, nothing else.
I checked defence-update for the "source" of the Israeli "concern" of the Chinese AF and found nothing there as well.
