The "Ummah" doesn't exist. It is a made up construct by zealous Pakistani Muslim idealists. Virtually ALL other non-Pakistani Muslims do not believe in or even subscribe to the idea of the "Ummah".

Islamabad is always well illuminated so adding a few more colourful bulbs wouldn't break the bank and might cheer up the atmosphere with so many useless characters gathering in one place.

I hope Al Jazeera English makes long news and analysis Tomorrow. I know at least there are 2 Pakistani Correspondent for Al Jazeera English. Hoping huge fund for Afghanistan donated by OIC countries. Hoping the fund will be used as much as it can to buy food and agricultural products made by Afghan in Afghanistan so there will be some boost made to help the economy instead of bringing the food from outside Afghanistan.

OIC may be useless but this time it's about gathering funds for Afghanistan which is on the verge of a human catastrophe. For God's sake stop with your useless rhetoric all the time and focus. Pakistan is trying to rally OIC for support to Afghanistan since the West isn't in the mood and we cannot do it alone.
What do you think is going to happen with a crisis in Afghanistan and Pakistan with a border with them?

About time the afghans have a famine that finishes them off. History has shown that Pakistan has feed, clothed and sustained afghans for nearly 50 years, only for the afghans to turn against Pakistan, commit terrorism against us and murder our children and civilians. High time, the afghans get their payback and justice is served.

Have to agree. I can understand the Pakistani disappointment towards the IOC since we were raised with a certain vision and ideology as far as Islamic solidarity and brotherhood are concerned. When we realize that other Muslim countries always place their personal interest over Islamic brotherhood we get angry and disappointed.

This however does not take away the fact that
many OIC member states have and continue to support us in different ways. The purpose of course is personal interest and not Islamic solidarity but it is still a win win situation. We should not disparage the whole platform because it's member states values do not reflect our own. Instead make the best out of the situation. As you say we cannot carry the Afghan burden alone. Whatever help we can leverage for the Afghans, the better it is for the whole region.
