Turkey has been blocking Armenia economically and diplomatically for decades... No war.

Turkish Navy ongoing Operation Mediterranean Shield (Naval Blockade of entire Cypriot EEZ, targeting any research vessel and Greek ships) since a couple years ago... No war.

They can divert enough aircraft since India isn't fool, that could send a huge force to breach its own airspace security.

Like 320 of these are Mig 21s and 27s. Secondly.

why don't you apply same logic on both sides.. yes there are big number of mig 21s etc.. and a decent number of Mig 29 smt.. m2k.. su 30 mki... meanwhile on Pakistan side 50 jf 17 and f 16.. so you think Pakistan will send all of its jets ??? can PAF afford diversification of its inventory for PN???

And I thought we were discussing Indian Navy vs Pakistani Navy and not just two operations of the war.

And Eastern theater was not just gunboats and jets, it had amphibious landing, covert ops ,Naval blockade of entire East Pakistan, signal intelligence ops that fooled Pakistan Navy into believing that Indian aircraft carrier was 1000 Miles North of where it was and consequently lead to sinking of Pakistani submarine.

You should read this post before you say something against Indian members..... I don't know who is trolling here....

whatever jf-17 has to offer is enough for us, it can carry two anti-ship missiles, and will be able to patrol at enough range to keep the indian navy away from gwadar and karachi, i.e at about 500km from both. our navy is a small one and its role is area denial not area control. two squadrons of jf-17s will be enough for the navy. and from a range of 500km, indian navy cant do much against PN.

Having better platform both quantitatively and qualitatively IN can't do any thing... but PN can attack our coast with it's tiny force.... owning P 8I, Karmota ASW corvette other Combatant ships our coast is vulnerable to PN... JF 17 don't have range to detect IN vessels from 500KM range.... cheesy....

IN alone have 45 migs as for now... not mentioning about the future acquisition for New AC... do you know Mki is being modified to deliver Brahmos.... we don't need to repeat 1971 ... blocking your ports will do better job...

I think pak china co develop a anti sub role aircraft we previously have atlantiques also but retired now just one older playform enemy posses twice the better aircraft balance if sea war shifting to india P 8 is not a option for pakistan we want co production with chinese as we did ZDK 03 our navy always sleeping doing nothing time to wake up

What P 3 type aircraft do to underwater subs jf 17 or even f22 cant do

JF-17 don't have good loiter time and range, it will not be able to go after IN near Gulf of Aden without escort, mid air refueling.

With drop tanks it will not be able to carry much weapons load, J-11B or higher J series jet are need of time due to several reasons.
