That may not be the case. I'm sure Urdu has a word for it. Bengali has, I know. Induction is Anayon. আনয়ন-written in Bengali. Motor is motor but written in Bengali Alphabets - মটর।

Pardon me if I sound retard ..
But usage of English in our educational system is making things difficult for some students . Not all students can work well in english and not everyone can make up their mind to understand those new words of this language.
In our country, there are many people who have very high iq and have got a very sound mind still cannot go ahead in education if they don't have a complete grasp on english or regard education as difficult cause of new language.
Your native language affects your brain development. Western nations have the benefit that they use english in their daily life also then carry studying in the same language and also rule the world with this same language.
While it's not case with us, our mind is developed in urdu , study in Same language but then told that it's important to learn English to move ahead or to become a successful person in this earth like the famous people. In order to get a job , you need to have grasp in english that is just a injustice to those who don't know english.


Seems like your iq is not any benefit to you unless you learn English . It should be limited to a language of interaction and should not be given the state of dependency on it .

We learn a foreign language, which has nothing or very few to do with our environment. We never become proficient to native level. On the other hand, crafts and Science are also taught in English(because we don't translate science in our language), in which also we never become proficient to "their" level.
That's the reason, we don't have any standing in science. We depend on foreign literature. Our everything,right from poetry to governance system is racing towards utter destruction, even law is in English.
Look at Germany, Finland, France, Korea, China, Russia.....they all read science in their own language, even Iran.
The worst example is India, Bangladesh and Pakistan. We have world biggest pools of PHds, yet we depend on west to give us some assistance in science.
Its our bureaucracy, that never wants a common person to understand law or procedures properly, ask for correction(s) or even his/her rights....simple.

True we've lots of talent in our country and our country can even surpass the west in intelligence and development in science but it's a sad state that our development is submissive to a foreign language .

You can't give an urdu word for Induction Motor. There might be one, but people laugh at the translation into urdu.
English is very useful when you have multi-lingual nation and everybody holds their linguistic origin as an identity there by opposing any other language (From the country). A neutral language can bridge the gap.

English is very useful if you want to communicate (say a colleague who don't understand you). Although I disagree about the intelligence part. After my graduation, during the interview I was stuttering with English, all though I could manage the technical terms I couldn't connect the dots which require good proficiency in English. Seeing my difficulty, the board members asked to talk in my own language. So, I must say English didn't help me to secure a job. My own ability to communicate did.

Now that, it has become part of my life, although my vocabulary never improved, I manage to have a proper conversation (without stuttering) when I'm out of my country.

Many scientific English words are in fact, not English i.e. Auto and Alcohol.
