NEW DELHI: Amid reports of Union Ministers presenting their report cards to RSS, Congress on Thursday wondered whether the Narendra Modi government was accoutable to a "fascist organization" or people of the country.

"It confirms that the RSS is controlling this government and its Ministers are answerable to RSS rather than being accountable to the people of India. When all senior ministers are giving report cards to RSS, is the government accountable to RSS or people of India?" Congress spokesman RPN Singh said.

He said "it is embarrassing for the nation" when Cabinet Ministers make presentations to people with the mindset of controversial VHP leader Pravin Togadia.

With several issues confronting the government coming up at a coordination meeting of the Sangh and its affiliates at which several senior Ministers were also present, Singh said, "Now the RSS is telling Shri Modi and his Govt what to do on OROP, economy & farm distress".

In a statement, party's chief spokesman Randeep Surjewala said what has been taking place is nothing but "grave travesty of democracy".

"This explains why the Prime Minister has remained mum through all the scams, the slide in the economy and the rapid fall in development of the country", Surjewala said.

He alleged a constitutionally elected Government is "reporting to and is being held captive to the diktats of an extra constitutional, divisive and fascist organization like RSS whose greatest claim to fame is helping the colonial rulers against a nation fighting for independence."

Surjewala said it is not surprising thus that this government has, in line with its "masters in the RSS, unleashed a divisive, anti people and fascist agenda on the country."

"RSS-BJP meet demonstrates that remote control is now overt control. Modi may be PM but Bhagwat is the boss. BJP government puppet of RSS and oligarchs," Congress leader Manish Tewari tweeted.

. . . .
He is accountable to 1.27 Billions Indians who voted him in power. He represents entire India, not RSS.

The Pseudo Secular party has no agenda and hence decides to play 'Accountability, Accountability'.

The better question would be: Is Rahul Accountable to Pogo or Chota Bheem.

You are lying like a pathological liar. If 1.27 billion is the population of india, then how come all people voted for him. There would be certain age group, then a certain percentage of that group is registered as voters and on top of it is certain turn out on the election day and out that total votes, he got some and then opposition and minorities and few hindu people with good consciousness and conscience did vote against him. Thus I caught your lie mathematically that all the 1.27 billion people voted for him. Myth busted :)

No he represents only the voters who voted for him. That is a caveat in democracy.

He is called the Prime Minister of India. Hence, he represents every Indian respective of his cast, creed religion.:laughcry:

janne do bhai bachha abhi kachha hai :sarcastic:

I know for Pakistani's, it's Democrazy! :sarcastic:

It is difficult for a Pakistani to understand the concept of democracy as only one democratically elected govt completed its term in 68 years existence of Pakistan.

Don't worry after a few years (if no other generals become restless) you may also understand the concept of democracy.

BTW just try to get this puzzle around your head. Our last PM Dr. Man Mohan Singh was not from the loksabha so he di not evn fight direct elections and was not directly elected. Do you think by your logic he did not represent any of the 1.27 billion Indians during the 10 years he was the PM
