Is Los Angeles the worst run city in America - Homeless Update

The earliest virus sample was found in Spain, but that is not the topic in this thread, who told you we didn't compensate? Your pathetic Indian media?

DW is not Indian Media and that is on ground reporting, you guys click some pics for photo-ops saying that everyone lives the same, if you’re so confident then why were policemen stopping them from using cameras there? And whom are you fooling? In China the government owns the land, hence one can’t reject the CCP, owner refuses huh?

Then it can be more pathetic, a square meter in urban Beijing for demolition is around 150,000 yuan,(24,000USD), and people still refuse to leave cause many of them are 学区房, you know nothing about China, western propaganda feeds you too much crap.

Well your homeless population is still more than India anyhow.

So giving free houses to the poor by the government means being homeless is not allowed?

No one here to finish watching a whole hour long documentary, here we are talking about homelessness. Do Indian cities have homeless people?

Freedom of being homeless...., how glorious

If you are a alcoholic or drug abuser that is an obvious outcome

Well put

And they seem to be trying to make an effort to deal with the homeless crisis, just a little bit. Check out “German in Venice” YouTube channel. He is out there, most week days, documenting LA’s efforts to clean up at the beach and boardwalk. But it’s a whole homeless-social services industrial complex that makes it slow to make significant progress. Also there are mental health, substance abuse, and an affordable housing shortage the contribute to people not leaving the great weather by the beach as well.

Minneapolis with its brutal winters does not have a "homeless" population comparable to Los Angeles

what is the point of giving free homes to the homeless ? why would any working stiff work when free stuff is given to the homeless ?

this ain't a pissing contest

But where there are so many of them?
So cute, awwww. I understand Google is banned there, but a simple google search can give you your answer!
Lol, Ok, so Indian google says China has more homeless people and street beggars than India as you claimed?

This video was from some years ago, some years ago I saw homeless people in Beijing myself, but now, none, can't find a single of them.
We some time see people go through the trash can, but they are not homeless, they don't live on the street.
I agree some homeless people have mental issues, but it can't explain why US has so many.

Are many homeless people in L.A. mentally ill? New findings back the public’s perception

The Times examined more than 4,000 questionnaires taken as part of this year’s point-in-time count and found that about 76% of individuals living outside on the streets reported being, or were observed to be, affected by mental illness, substance abuse, poor health or a physical disability.

The Times, however, found that about 67% had either a mental illness or a substance abuse disorder. Individually, substance abuse affects 46% of those living on the streets — more than three times the rate previously reported — and mental illness, including post-traumatic stress disorder, affects 51% of those living on the streets, according to the analysis.

Yes. Am not going to defend incompetence when it is so blatantly in your face kind.
