ok. I assumed Iran gets quite hot in the summer - and i also assumed you had crazy traffic like all Muslim countries.

Worst i've experienced is Cairo. All the cars had dents in them.

Yes ... Traffic is not good here ! But getting better year by year ... And yes , summer is hot but I don't want to travel in summer.

That's a dirt bike great for "off road" travels, but on main roads or highways that take twice the energy to paddle.

Good thread. An deceased friend from Pak. He left when he was 18 after a family issue on bicycle; traversed all the way over Iran/Iraq to Egypt then all the way to South Africa - this in mid 1970s.
Nadeem Khan. His grave is in Mafikeng - should there be any one who would remember him.
I dont know where his original family is but our folks took him in and he became one of us.
He married but had no kids, passed away in a road accident (car driving) on his way back from joburg in 1986.
I will see if i cannot find his grave marker in case anyone recognises.
