The whole of Pakistan is surviving on kashmir issue.

The thought of strategic alliance comes only if all the disputes are settled. China cannot see India play a significant role in world politics. India cannot see pak gaining a foothold in Afgh. So a strategic alliance is not possible.

If countries like pakistan realise this and stop providing them bases,and stop acting as a poodle the western hegemony would not have spread this much in the sub continent.

Right now it is hard to say as there is power struggle going on inside Pakistan so we need to wait for the next set of elections and see who might come to power, if it is Imran Khan we could have a workable partner. However the real power rest with the Pakistan military as for Kashmir 2011 was a big victory over the militants for India we almost wiped them out so let's hope 2012 is even better!

the right mentality would be to think of equilibrum
instead of thinking "how much i can sell much more to them than i buy" you should think how do fair business

first solve the kashmir issue and find peaceful solution according to the wishes of people of kashmir . After that there will be no more issue left between Pak and India , then yes in near future we can think of big cooperation between Pak and India .

not possible at all, too many difference of opinions too much at stake to have a compromise on (pak won't give up its claim on Kashmir, political suicide it would prove to any ruling govt in pakistan )

.the resources are very limited and won't last for more than next 60 odd years to come, so there's gonna be tussle between 10 most powerful countries,

last but not the least as long as US is worlds only superpower there cannot be any peace in this region.
