Is Bhutan moving away from Delhi... towards Beijing?

The NE states are not going anywhere.

Interesting to see wet dreams from those whose parents we saved from genocide and rapine.

But guess, such dreams is all they are capable of now, being so totally and utterly insignificant in the real world.

The NE people hate the demographic invasion from BD Muslim aliens and our army and government is so far holding them from repeating (and repeating again) another Nellie with great difficulty.

There is no Nazi Germany like lebensraum in store for BD in either India or Myanmar. Both want to have nothing to do with them.

PS: Regarding geography, if needed, we can capture the top 3rd or so of Bangladesh to increase the width of the corridor anytime we feel the need. It is anyway a just compensation for holding a significant population share of BD Muslim aliens in India. There are already demands for it from some politicians.

What is China wishing in Bhutan, supporting communist insurgency in Bhutan like they accomplished in Nepal.

Bhutan should adopt a balanced relationship with Indian and China and that's good for the whole region.

no they won't because they are getting benefits from both side. Bhutan will just show to India that she is with China and to China vice versa. and will take benefit from both countries

Nah not at all .. they are as much worried about China as we are ,they have some small border issue with them, only if GOI would get it act toghter and step up investment in that country..
Bhutan is tightely integrated into our Indian system ,such is the condition in southern Bhutan that, even to move from west to east in their country they need to cross over to India and use our roads,, spend some time in kokrajhar and Baksa distrct of Assam (Bodoland areas:D) you will understand what i mean..

BTW as previously posted by some one I would to clear the doubt that ¨lyndohs¨ from Meghalaya are not ¨mongoloids¨ they belong to Khasi tribes who are austro-asiatic people ,I heard they are similar to Cambodians and speak similar language mon-khmer or something..however other tribe linguistically speak tibeto-burman languages and so prolly related to tibetans and burmese people not to Chinese people who are predominantly Han from far far east...

And they only make up like 1% of the Indian population.

Anyway, those NE Indians are actually of Tibeto-Burmese descent, so they are more similar to Southeast Asians than East Asians.

The royal couple of Bhutan look like pure East Asians, though I doubt they really are.

The Tibeto-Burmese folks in NE India are the brothers of Tibetans and the cousins of Hans, they are more closely related to the Han Chinese than to the Viets. :coffee:

Only the ones in Zangnan are related to Tibetans.

The other NE Indians are related to Burmese and Bengalis.

There were many Bhutanese in my college and they even used to abuse in Hindi.:lol:

Bhutan should provide staging post for PLA near Shiliguri Corridor.

If bhutan can do that think what india can do to bhutan?? For an example why don't u musol bongs try and do such things against india?? Haagteyo jaga paabinaa..

Burmese are belong to the Sino-Tibetan family, while the so-called East Asians like Japanese/Korean/Vietnamese are not.

We are genetically more closely related to Burmese than to Japanese/Korean/Vietnamese.

What does pakistani think tanks smoke yaar ?? Goddamn u ppl think urself s super power or what??

1. There is a huge IA presence in Bhutan. IMTRAT is a cover for a Corps Group under a Lieut Gen. In addition they have BRO which also has troops.
2. Under treaty Bhutan's defense and external affairs are under India. The reserve bank of Bhutan is 25% owned by SBI.Indians are employed even in Bhutanese govt corporations. Currencies of both nations are legal in both and always have same value.
3. India closely monitors all of Bhutan's activities including trade. For instance when BD's Jamuna Bridge was undertaken a Bhutanese company was engaged to supply the rocks and boulders. The value of US$ 35 mlln was going to be the highest forex deal in the kingdom. India stepped in and sabotaged the deal by imposing MEP (minimum export price) on any stone/ rock going through India. Eventually WB had to cancel the bid and in the re-tender India's Pakur source got this costing higher.

Essentially Bhutan is turning into another Sikkim.

Are you sure about that? I saw some pictures in the news recently like this:

Suu Kyi in Burma

Look at the guy right behind her. Many of the Burmese people look like Malays or South Asians, from the facial features.

I think maybe the ones in the Northern parts of Burma (next to Yunnan province) look more like East and Southeast Asians.

Come out of the mentality of race. Race don't make nations. India is a prime example. All humans are related to one another.
