Gotta love it when people with little know-how of how macro-economics works talk about foreign debt. IK literally has no choice but to secure funding from SOMEWHERE or the country will default. One needs to understand the situation with our balance of payments and current account deficit. I don't think he wants to go to the IMF, which is why he tried with China and the Saudis first. He probably hopes this is the last time.

He inherited a mess of such gargantuan proportions that his hands are tied when it comes to options for immediate economic relief. By next year, there should be no need for these loans as all of PTI's measures to boost exports, increase remittances, etc., will start improving our foreign reserves.

What about the reforms or the changes he barked for last 5 years? Has he done even0.001% of what he said pre-July 25?
Patwari or Youthiya, Ishaq Dar managed the issue better than this imbecile Asad Umar which he has confessed himself. On top of this Asad Umar is going to hike electricity prices in 2 days after exorbitant gas prices. PML-N was voted by patwaris but this PTI was voted by urban populations into power.
