Iran's World cup Draw: Well, S**T !

next incompetent LoL posting

You dont get third place in FIFA ranking because of luck...

Every team had in the quali stage easy teams they beat with huge goal different...
Iceland throw out England at the last Euro and currently 22th place in FIFA ranking way ahead Iran
Serbia is 38th place only 40 points behind Iran 32th place
Denmark is 12th place
Wales is 19th place

Iceland, Serbia Denmark and Wales are not handicaped mongos.... all of them would give Iran a hard run for money in a game that matters...

Iran have already beaten Iceland and Denmark.

Stop referring to fifa ranking. It means nothing. Norway which is a joke team is a regular top 15 and sometimes even top 10. Just in recent years have they dropped in ranking. Even Iran was ranked nr 15 prior to WC2006. Fifa ranking means nothing.

You are probably a fat middle aged man watching football on you big screen and looking at fifa rankings thinking you have a clue about football

.
I don't mind the draw that much. You go into the world cup to play the top teams in a highly competitive environment. its what makes it so fun for me. I actually would be disappointed if iran didn't draw a big team in the groups...

it should come down to confidence. the saying from boxing is true in football as well. If a boxer even thinks his opponent might beat him, then hes already lost before he stepped onto the ring. if iran doesn't get scared by the names Portugal/spain. Goes in with a plan and play the game of their lives, they can defnintly upset at least one of them..

far bigger upsets have happened in the world cup. its all about belief, playing well and maybe even getting a little lucky.... should be fun

Well, Shit! is how Iranians reacted to the final draw today

Next time in Qatar maybe? :partay:

Group A and H are the easiest and Group B is hands down the death group.

All i care about is we play good and loose like men

 We will play with our iranian brothers :pop:

Honestly, I think Spain is the clear favourite in the group B. And the second place will be VERY OPEN, because Portugal is not a very trustful team, it's very irregular, and it depens A LOT on CR7, which nowadays is playing 30% of his top level (I'm a very passionate fan of Real Madrid, and here in Spain we are very tired of the extremely low level of CR7, he is 33 year old, and his best years have passed away...).

So, with Portugal being very irregular, the group is open for Morocco and Iran. I think Iran has a very REAL chance of qualifying.

Another thing: IMHO the hardest group is D. Argentina will have very tough matches. I like Croatia in this group, specially for the GREAT Luka Modric, the best midfield in the Galaxy!! 8-)8-)8-)

Hopefully Pepe will get a red by the time we play Portugal lol.

He has played Tom's role for Messi's Jerry , I wish vise versa. His red card will cause a bad injury for his opponent player

I'm thinking of his contact with Dejagah, امیدوارم دژاگه روی این بچه پررو رو کم کنه , :enjoy:

intersting statistic... the current market worth of the national teams (all players together) which will play 2018 world cup...

https://de.statista.com/statistik/d...ussland-gesamter-marktwert-der-nationalteams/

forcast ... who will make it through group stage?

My tip

Group A
1. Uruguay
2. Egypt

Group B
1. Spain
2. Portugal

Group C
1. France
2. Denmark

Group D
1. Argentina
2. Croatia

Group E
1. Brasil
2. Swiss

Group F
1. Germany
2. Sweden

Group G
1. Belgium
2. England

Group H
1. Poland
2. Columbia

. .
Football is a game where two teams play for 2x45 minutes, and the Germans Wins!

But not always...

That was a good weakup call befor the 2014 world cup... everything went to good and easy till that 4:4 ... that brought the team back to earth and keeped them alert to stay focused even with a 4:0 lead... the 7:1 vs Brasil was the result of the 4:4 against Sweden... they never fully lifted the throttle against Brasil even after the 5:0 they keeped up some preassure and continued attacking

We can defeat Morocco, Look at their statistics :
They had loss against DR.Congo, Finland, Egypt and Cameroon. Makes me hope for a win with 3 score for Iran.

Africans have high physical strength, i guess that's why they have crippled South Koreans. With Jahanbakhsh and Sardar's technique, there is hope for victory against Morocco.

Draw with both Portugal and Spain is the best result. EU teams enjoy stunning coordination among players and technicians. Carlos Queiroz will choose a defensive composition against them, with all of his eggs in Sardar/Dejagah's basket. 5 scores, man! just 5 scores can pull Iran out of this death group :hitwall::hitwall::hitwall::hitwall:

.
I would not be too concerned. Qualification might be difficult but it should not be embarrassing. Also Portugal aren't playing as well as they can. I think they had peaked for the euro win.

.
The strongest group based on their FIFA-ranking was chosen :

Group B is the strongest

.
They are euro champions because they got lucky facing teams like Serbia, Armenia, Albania, Denmark, Iceland and Wales.

You should not underestimate European countries national football teams. Serbia is maybe not a football powerhouse, but we were never an easy picking for the others. For example Serbian U-20 national football team was a FIFA World Cup champions in 2015, and our U-19 national football team was UEFA European champions in 2013. So there is a lot of young talented players coming from Serbia. Also Serbia has always been among the largest exporters of football players in the world. For years now we are at the fourth place, behind Brazil, Argentina and France. Now we have young players such as: Sergej Milinkovic Savic, Milos Veljkovic, Andrija Zivkovic, Mijat Gacinovic, Nemanja Maksimovic, Marko Grujic, Mile Svilar.... Plus we have players like: Nemanja Matic, Dusan Tadic, Adem Ljajic, Aleksandar Kolarov, Nikola Maksimovic, Branislav Ivanovic, Filip Kostic and Aleksandar Mitrovic. Most of the problems in our team in recent years were caused with terrible head coach selection (since Radomir Antic), and often changes in that position. We do not lack in talent or quality, but will we be able to put that in to a good result is yet to be seen, in any case we are not a team to be underestimated.
