A few weeks ago, Saudi Arabia just before Iran's negotiation, demanded from West to give Saudi Arabia the same technology as Iran has.

Here is the original answer in Persian which is much more harsh than the translation NYT has done:

Iran's plants are designed to withstand an earthquake of 8 on Richter scale and even remained contained at 9 on Richter scale.

Such scaremongering has no effect.

Iran has the technology and you don't.

On the other hand what may happen to a NPP? Iran's nuclear sites have passed all qualifications and standard norms need for such facilities and have been approved by IAEA ....

Moreover no one is exited about talks in Iran except your officials that act as a spoil little girl demanding what has been given to others ... we got it by ourselves. if you can go and have it.

Not really. They are just puppets. They do not have policies of their own. Only what is dictated to them. Look at their history. Saudi Arabia was created by British through their agents such as Lawrence of Arabia only in 1930's. UAE was created by British in 1970's. So is the case of the rest. The only two real countries are Yemen and Oman.

Look at some of the countries in the region (and Africa). Look at the borders. Some of the borders are straight lines. It's like some people sat down and create arbitrary countries. They put a rule on a map, drew a line, and said, "This is so and so country and that is so and so country".

Now, real countries generally don't have such straight lines and leaders of countries don't agree to such a method. It is only foreigners do this for other countries (not their own). For example, look at map of Europe. No borders are a straight line.

That is true. But in case of Yemen one of the oldest countries on earth, the borders exist, though not respected by Saudis. Since 1930's Saudis have grabbed Yemeni territory several times. In fact there is not official border between Saudi Arabia and Yemen, and only for some areas Saudis signed an agreement with Yemeni dictator in year 2000. Yemeni people never accepted these arrangements. Let's see what happens.

Which by the way is something no one is discussing. How different is King Salmon from previous King and how much is this difference affecting foreign policy? How much contributing in Yemen does his son, as the youngest Minister of Defense, IN THE WORLD, had on this war policy?

I would honesty would love to hear a serious assessment on this from the Saudis in this board.
