Except that for decades Iran has been stabbing other Muslim nations in the back such as Pakistan. And when the time comes, they will want to twist the knife in Pakistan's back.

Except for China and Turkey, can you name 1 country that has NOT stabbed Pakistan in the back? I wish the best for Pakistan and hope we can all work together for a better tomorrow. The US is trying to divide the Muslim world by supporting dictators and kings. Don't fall for their tricks.

I say Pakistan should chose the Arabs. This regime of Iran is two-faced. Yes, during the Shah's rule of Iran, we had excellent relations with Iran but this current regime of Iran is not trustworthy. Pakistan should pretend its great with Iran like how Iran pretends its great with Pakistan, but Pakistan government/army/ISI should be very careful when dealing with Iran.

Saudi Arabia also has helped Pakistan in time of need and has helped Pakistan's economy when we were struggling.

The majority of Pakistanis hold a lot of respect for Saudi Arabia. Dont take the comments from Pakistanis in this forum very seriously. The minorities in Pakistan are not very fond of Saudi Arabia, but most Pakistanis will always remember the help Saudi Arabia has given Pakistan.

China, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia are Pakistan's closest allies.

Iran is not really Pakistan's ally but its not Pakistan's enemy either.

The purpose of this thread is to 'divide and rule'. The initiator is most probably an american or israeli disguised as a proponent of the Muslim World. Yes, there's is certainly friction between Saudi Arabia and Iran but that is nothing compared to the friction between the interest of the Muslim World and the interest of america or israel. Now it is a traditional technique of the americans to divert attention away from the real problem by singing this tune and there are always Arab despots ready to fall for it.

I for one actually like this development. This way, israel will remain the regional power and everyone else will be too busy to start baying for its blood.
If this stalemate can be maintained indefinitely we would have enduring peace through 'conflict' and MAD ( Mutually Assured Destruction).

Saudi Arabia has a per capita GDP 8x that of Iran yet Iran spends 14 times more on scientific research as a percentage of GDP. What a joke of a country. African countries like Sudan, Botswana and Uganada spend more than Saudi Arabia as percentage of GDP. In absolute terms, even impoverished Uruguay, Egypt and Phillipines spends more, and tiny Luxembourg with population less than 1 million spends 3x the money Saudi does. And some people think Saudi Arabia is the guardian of Islam?!

Some may call Iran an agressive country, but Saudi Arabia is not the agressor in the region. Even China enjoys excellent relations with Saudi Arabia. It will benefit China if China becomes closer to Saudi Arabia.
