Iranian Yasir unmanned system in Iraq

Drone this small wont have much range, Might be good for tactical battlefield recon.

I think that's a compliment if anyhting at all.

Ssshhh ... there are more logical problems with this, they won't listen.

Example 1.

Iran does not have a real time satellite enabled network that could allow high speed connectivity beyond the line of sight.

that means, drones may only be employed at a very limited range ...
Kind of like having a drone flying for 18 hours on one's own head.

The reason americans can so effectively employ drones is because they have the real time satellite network, which allows their pilots to sit safe while flying drones across the globe.

Let them answer this one, and then I will tell you another problem with those pictures.

now lets see the Ayatulahs explain, what the pilot sees in the screen and how he reacts to it.

And what is your revolutionary notion about S-129 MALE UAV?

Oh dear,

Ours is not the revolutionary nation, .. I think yours does have a force named such.

BTW, aren't you the one who posted pictures of a quadcopter from a university experiment and claimed they were ayatullah crafts ?

OMG! you seems not very smartie to me.

there is a difference between Iran and US in this regard.USA is located thousands of km away while control unit of this drone is probably 40 km away from the patroling area and that should be enough.as seen in the pictures, both control station and drone have been included in the delivery. now go ahead and give us more revolutionary notions about this ayatullah drone.

you dont even know the meaning of "notion".LOL

Mr . genius the drone has been given to a militia and is operated by them in Iraq to monitor a small area as battlefield , don't you think why on earth Iran should give them an UAV capable of what you described in your post?
The point is we've managed to push back ISIS and save Iraq by all these cheesy and clumsy weaponry, while American failed in both Iraq and Afghanistan despite enjoying fancy equipments and gigantic military budget ...

And please don't talk on behalf of Americans, tell us what you have to represent ....

You talk like American led airstrikes never happened and allowing the Kurds and Iraqi military to push them back with air support. You know it all started from that when the Iraqi govt. asked for help.

Lol. Are you jealous because Pakistan does not manufacture drones that could atleast monitor its border with Afghanistan so that a dozen ugly men do not just walk through and kill kids in schools? No need to be a fancy one controlled from South Pole. Just something small that flies and stays in air for several hours monitoring a locality around a border post eg. 20 kilometer radius. Very useful specially in mountainous areas just like the Pakistan border with Afghanistan.

You talk like American led airstrikes never happened and allowing the Kurds and Iraqi military to push them back with air support. You know it all started from that when the Iraqi govt. asked for help.

US did not do any favor. It had left Iraq in a mess and without an air force, its policies in Syria had created the mess and its allies such as Saudis were at risk of becoming the next target of the zombies if Iraq had fallen. In all fairness, the air strikes were of a very limited benefit if at all. Just symbolic. The actual force was and is Iran. US can only create mess, which Iran then has to clean up. Such is the state of affairs. Some of the American mess:

* Created and supported taleban zombies and then went to war with them.
* Supported Saddam and then went to war with him.
* Created and supported Syrian rebels and now is fighting them.
* Made peace with Qaddafi when he gave up his nuke program and then killed him and Libya is now a nation run by a thousand war lords.
* Etc etc etc

. .
Couldn write appropriate software to stabilize the unstable air frame, so what do they do? Add a tail! Lol

Yasir-1.jpg

Nah, there are two versions produced by Iran, one is identical to ScanEagle (one of which was gifted to the head of Russian Air Force during his visit), the second one bears a resemblance to AAI RQ-7 Shadow UAV in the tail section, since Iran also had captured one or few RQ-7s ....nice try tho child killer, now go cry to US and Germany so they donate some more weapons to you !:coffee:
