Yes, I personally could use some good news

Manage your expectations people, this is space industry and the fact that there is any activity at all in this economy should be a cause for celebration. No failure goes to waste, just takes time.

Having said that, i want to see improvement and fixes (i.e. indicators of progress). If we are going to fail, let's hope it's due to something new and not a recurring problem.

Hopefully they won't fail this time ...

So far, it is the heaviest ever of all the satellite launches attempted by Iran, even exceeding for the first time the 100 kilogram mark!

The difficulty for tomorrow's launch should never be overlooked, as the failure probability is of the highest!

“Zafar” telecommunications satellite is as heavy as 113 kg

...
Accordingly, making decision for injection time of this satellite in the orbit shall be borne by the Ministry of Defense and Launcher Group, Jahromi stated.

Zafar also carries S&F consignment which provides features such as broadcasting a single message to all users, one-way voice communication between two users, sending a message to 256 direct users.

Preparing map of lands, basic map, civil development map, agricultural fields map, map on changes in lands natural environment and jungles, monitoring developments in seasonal and perpetual lakes, identifying damaged areas after the crisis and upgrading structural maps are among missions of the satellite.

Doubtful it will be a success especially if they use Safir again.

With Simorgh the issue seems to be placing payload into high enough orbit.

But both SLVs are underpowered and inefficient.

Safir can not go that high only Simorgh can but all said we need better SLVs
