Featured IRANIAN NUCLEAR SCIENTIST ASSASSINATED: STATE TV NEWS

It is unfortunate to read some of the comments here that have originated from pure emotion. Shit happens all the time; strategic thinkers think how they can make the most out of it. Here is a good idea: "If we are supposed to abide by most onerous inspection regime and still lose our nuclear scientists then we should not remain in NPT"

Whatever Iranian state TV states, is propagated in Pakistan, to the point that it sound like word of god, which actually is to many of us.

A underground test is a common thing in a nuclear weapons development (like in North Korea REAL nuclear program, unlike Israeli fantasy nuclear program) and it's not a danger to anyone, no matter how tiny your country is.

I can't know if Israel have nuclear weapons, but I know if they have they never tested (South Africa issue was just a glitch in a sat).

I know American are not crazy enough to let Israeli have nuclear weapons, and Israel is a puppet USA vassal state since decades ago.

I know Vanunu history is a lot of nonsenses and it was made by Israel (without Israel state permission it would be impossible all that absurd Vanunu movie). It would be very easy kill Vanunu before any revelation, and they didnt, because they want that fake propaganda of imaginary nuclear weapons.

It's dangerous believe in imaginary nuclear weapons when you attack a country with enough missiles and rockets (hezbollah) to wipe out your country from the face or Earth.

In my opinion Iran must improve the accuracy of their long range missiles and test it blowing up Bibi house, Knesset, or anything like that.

Israeli people will celebrate making a party because they hate their politicians.

Israeli politicians are risking whole Israeli people lives in a war against Iran.

Nobody wants a war against Iran except Israeli d*mbsh*t government and USA.
Why would we test it in our country?
The whole point of this project was secrecy. Read this:

And well, if Israel doesn't have nukes, why Iran doesn't just swarm us with missiles?

You're a schizo
If in Iraq, the retaliation will be in the first week of Biden being president. 3 reasons:
1. Revenge for Soleimani and Muhandis.
2. Revenge for nuckear scientists
3. US ignoring ultimatum to leave Iraq
4. New president, new rules of engagement
Ahmm, what did Iraq do?

Biden is way more aggressive than Trump, he is responsible for the bombing of many Middle Eastern nations. He wanted to bomb the shit out of the Serbs. He will bomb the shit out of Iran too

US won’t bomb Iran because that would cause a global economic meltdown.

Look What a virus with less than 3% fatality did to the world economy. Now imagine what oil at $150-200 barrel will do to the economy because major oil terminals have been bombed by Iran and no insurance company will insure tankers to pass through the PG because the risk of being attacked is too high of an liability. Oil over $100 affects the cost of goods, transportation, oil by products, etc. it’s a disaster quite honestly.

US/Israel much rather just sit back and use sanctions, sabotage, and assassinations. Low risk. And Iran has shown no back bone to respond to these attacks.

Poke the bear to affect its behavior (Covert attacks), but don’t go kidnap it’s Cubs (war). That’s just retarded.

When a rogue regime threatens to commit genocide against you every day, you have the right to defend yourself.

That's an utter propagandistic fabrication. Iran never threatened anyone even remotely with "genocide".

And a funny alleged "genocidal" motivation that is, when after 40+ years those supposedly harboring it wil not start out with the easiest targets immediately at their mercy, i. e. Jewish Iranian citizens residing on Iranian territory.

Instead, these are offered full religious freedom, regular civil rights and even a permanent member in Parliament (despite numbering no more than 7500 out of a total population of some 83 million), in addition to enjoying an above average social-economic status for the most part.

You might fool the pathetic Eurotrash EU with twisting of words and meanings.

He did not twist words. To suggest Iran is threatening others with "genocide" however, is a good example of word twisting.

The message has been very clear for the past 40+ years from the terror regime of Iran. They want to destroy Israel and export their "revolution" to Arab countries.

Firstly, the Islamic Republic is no "terror regime". Considering the role of terrorist organizations such as Irgoun or Stern Gang in creating the occupation regime in Palestine, a supporter of that regime would hardly be in a position to point fingers at others. The Islamic Republic stems from a popular revolution and was established on the basis of a free and fair referendum.

Iran seeks the destruction of the zionist regime exactly like the apartheid regime in South Africa was destroyed. This certainly involves no "genocide", and Iranian declarations do not leave any room for spinning since Iran's leadership has provided on several occasions precise explanations regarding their principled stance on the issue of Palestine, and as to what exactly they mean when stressing the need to remove the zionist regime.

where you will fit these

  2. iranian oil tankers attacked near jeddah?
  3. shot down of ukrainian jetliner killed 65 iranians ?
  4. Parchin explosion and Shiraz blackout
  5. Tehran clinic explosion
  6. Natanz nuclear enrichment facility explosion
  7. Khuzestan explosions
  8. Baqershahr explosion
  9. Tehran explosions
  10. Mahshahr petrochemical plant explosion
  11. Mashad explosion
  12. Ahvaz pipeline explosion
  13. Isfahan power plant explosion
even the Pakistan members of this board are more informed about the scoreboard.

Not really, since as Mohsen already explained most of the listed incidents were accidents and didn't result from sabotage.

There is also nothing out of the ordinary about them, including in the statistical sense. And including when compared to economically developed countries such as the US.

An analyst made a study showing that such incidents were more frequent the aforegone year:

Part 2: Iran’s Fires and Explosions Are Not Unusual

By Tiziana Corda

Updated: August 4, 2020

Original: July 21, 2020

The fires and explosions in Iran in the summer of 2020 were not anomalies. Some were quite ordinary, especially in a country with a long record of neglected infrastructure and especially in summertime. Data retrieved from the archives of IRNA — used for consistency and because the news agency provides fairly consistent media coverage of such incidents–shows that these kinds of events occur frequently. In 2019, IRNA reported at least 97 fires or explosions — at power plants, factories, hospitals, research centers, vessels and arms depots — or more than one per day over 2.5 months. During the same period in 2020, Iran witnessed at least 83 incidents. In both years, the seriousness of the events varied significantly. (Neither year includes fires in green areas such as parks, forests and gardens.)

The only major difference between 2020 and 2019 was the number of explosions at military or nuclear facilities—notably at the Natanz nuclear facility on July 6 and the Khojir missile plant on June 26.

Related material with chronology of incidents: "Mysterious Explosions Rock Iran"

The following maps detail the site and type of fire or explosion assembled from IRNA data:

  • fires and explosions in military/nuclear sites noted in black (and only happened in 2020),
  • medical centers noted with a cross
  • factories, power plants, public places are noted in dark red,
  • and private residential units are in light red.

Iran shouldn't let its strategic calculations be based on what its most detrimental to Israeli interests.

Actually, considering how Iran's other powerful enemies - including and especially the US regime itself (as Biden's now famous remarks highlight once again), are subservient to the zionist entity, deterring Tel Aviv equals deterring the others.

That said, I do not subscribe to what it was you were responding to. The notion that Saudi Arabia or Turkey will be allowed or capable of acquiring nuclear weapons without US and Isra"el"i consent, and even against the will of the latter appears extremely unrealistic to me.

____

At this point it's clear that our mullahs have only one red line, how much of our women's hair is covered by their hijabs. Hell, they don't even enforce this either.

Well in that case someone should contact zionist authorities in Tel Aviv as soon as possible and lecture them about how they are wasting their time and money carrying out assassinations of Iranian scientists, using their lobbies in the US and elsewhere to pursue "regime change" in Tehran, backing anti-IR opposition and "ethno"-separatist terrorist gangs, orchestrating the biggest propaganda and psy-ops campaign in human history to bring down those same "mullahs"...

If Iran was really that passive then there must be something magical about this passivity since it is obviously driving Iran's enemies mad (zionists in particular). Otherwise why would the latter unleash this much hostility (more than against any other country, actually) on the Islamic Republic?

Looks like Mossad conducted an operation of 62 Operatives who all melted away. No body caught or killed from assisination team. If you look at how close the location is to Tehran, then you understand how easily Iran can be penetrated for these types of attack.

Article is to large and complex to copy and paste here.

I guess the weak response of Iran to previous hits have gotten them here and now where there is no fear of Irans reponse as Iran does not respond in kind... had Iran retaliated by taking out senior Israeli goverment officials in response, then Israel may become more careful but they have not and they are not. Irans lacks the ability to hit senior Israeli's whereas Israel can take out anyone in Iran, anyone.

Irans reponse would to be fire off some random missiles by some random group which will only kill a few goats as "revenge" ( I guess that is what Senior Iranian leaders are worth? A few goats? Lol !!! ) and then they will pretend that revenge has been served...

They probably came in on public transport with yarmulkes on and singing hava nagila. The Iranian security apparatus is pathetic. It's good at slaughtering innocent unarmed Iranian protestors seeking freedom, but not very good at anything else.

Everyone had teh capabily who wants to do it. Taliban kicked American but with a 1000 cuts

Um no they dont. Fighting foreign forces on your own soil is far different from infiltrating a country like Iran and assassinating its Top scientist in the middle of their Capital. Very few intelligence agencies in the world have that capability....

Oh come on. Stop the waffle
Inserting few men is like finding a needle in a haystack

Honestly, this seems so much like a troll post. No one denies Iran having the capabilities to strike very brutally. Iran has the capabilities to even assassinate Trump with a big blast. The capabilities of Iran are well documented and you may be aware of them with a simple google search.

What Iranian government is lacking is the ''will'' to respond in kind. We can all guess why there is no will but that's about it.

But what's happening is very bad for the Iranian nation. All the hyenas have ganged on Iran and there needs to be a retaliation. No question about that. Shame on the Iranian regime officials for not setting red lines for its top assets.

Just build the bomb already. That is Iran's best revenge. There can't be any technical barriers left. It should just be a political decision at this point. Build the bomb and ensure your people's security. It has been proven that conventional weapons are insufficient as a deterrence.

A Hyundai Santa Fe with four passengers, four motorcyles and two snipers were waiting for Fakhrizadeh at the scene of the ambush - along with a booby-trapped Nissan pickup.

Half an hour before Fakhrizadeh's convoy of three bulletproof cars arrived, the electricity was cut off to the area, Ahwaze reported. The team were in place when the first car passed the roundabout.

As the third car passed, the Nissan exploded, damaging electricity poles and transmitters, according to a state TV report from the area on Friday night.

The force of the explosion from the bomb hurled debris at least 300 meters, state television claimed.

The second car, containing Fakhrizadeh, was then shot at by the 12 assassins, including two snipers.

The gunmen with the hit squad opened fire on the cars, and an intense gunfight ensued, according to Sepah Cybery, a social media channel affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps.

Ahwaze tweeted: 'According to Iranian leaks, the leader of the assassination team took Fakhrizadeh out of his car and shot him and made sure he was killed.'

The hit squad then vanished, having sustained no losses to their team, Ahwaze reported

Oh now they also had sniper rifles and did a point blank execution.

Somehow the minister of intelligence will keep his job even though his incompetence has been astounding.

But don’t worry the apologists of this board will say the whole attack wasn’t a big deal.

They better have them attached on ballistic missiles before it is even tested because Israel will nuke Iran the second it goes live with a nuclear test.
