What is the engine used in this chopper?

. .
no, it is not... Since Iranian companies could produce digital navigation and instrumentation a few years back Iran started to apply it any projects that they are working on... in addition, Iran digitized its older birds...be it the Saeghe or the small Brazilian birds...

The thing that I found is that even in fully digitized planes there are still some critical analogue in case of emergency when digital was affected by technical failure or EMPs... this is my perception and may be wrong

so?

As @SHOEIL said, Shahed 285 is an experimental light chopper... I posted photos of digital instrumentation of toofan-2... so, what do you want to explain by posting F-35s photos beside Shahed - 285s?

Saeghe Fighter Instrumentation:

The pick I post show that at least in modern aircraft there are differences: some have fully digital cockpit instrumentation. e.g. F-35B and Typhoon, while others have a mix e.g. Rafale and Gripen. Su aircraft: depends on version.

SHAHED 285 as shown clearly has a predominantly analogue cockpit i.e. a mix which is still heavily tilted towards analogue instrumentation. Of course, this says nothing about any future versions. These are the facts as they are available.

The question is whether that is a mockup (intended cockpit) or an operational cockpit of a flyable aircraft.

it says the shown chopper the film is operational (in Persian) and in company catalog you can see its specifications... so what is left to be shown digital? why you say it still tends to be an analogue instrumentation even with the MDFs!

It is also visible in this marketing brochure that the digital instrumentation for helicopters is the PRIMARY instrumentation... I guess it means that all needed info is in digital and the analogue gauges are for reliability only... If I,m right...

Although, in New Saegheh cockpit you can see that there is almost no analogue instrumentation left (as far as it is clear in the photos)....
icimil.ir in Isfahan is building all these digital MDFs and other optical and laser products and when they issue a marketing catalog for their products including the chopper digital instrumentation, then it must be applicable and tested on flight already...

Those are not (in) the Shahed 285. That should be Obvious to you too. What is it with you folks, why are you always feeling attacked? I've said NOTHING negative about capability. I've looked and worded quite objectively. That there is a digitital cockpit display system available (for Mi-8/17) doesn't mean it is in Shahed 285. Get a grip.

People with the "attacked" notion are those with few achievements under their belt. The fact remains that neither of these prototypes have done much beyond being on propaganda shows.
There is a real and fake industry in Iran that runs parallel. The latter for the Ayatollahs whilst the former is kept going by the more pragmatic elements in the Iranian military. In either case, their Bell Helicopter derivatives would have had merit if they did not take eons in their supposed development stage where similar programs such as the ATA superhind take a few months to churn out. Although in fairness the Iranians have done a lot with all the unjust sanctions slapped on them; yet not as much as they could have with their talent as it usually kept busy building propaganda stuff.

Exactly. Their propaganda shows actually take away all the attention from everything else and make everyone focus solely on their mock ups, lies and propaganda. They do themselves a world of disservice by doing the things they do and if you say anything, the akhoond 11111111 army attacks you with the usual bull shit.

In Iran, the national TV is showing revolutionary propaganda in the form of music, TV shows, movies and documentaries 24/7. The news is spun to show a "world vs Iran" angle. Friday prayers, propaganda murals and posters in the streets, billboards etc... also portray the same ideas and images. Basically they believe the world is against them and that the West wants to control Iran. That's how they've been brought up. Anything you say to them is an attack on the country. This is partly how most dictatorships are able to maintain control (Iran, North Korea, China etc...). Although to be fair China has got a lot going for it, but they do partake in the same sort of "us vs them" model that most dictatorships run on.

A lot of non western countries do that. India, Pakistan and many Middle Eastern states have a population with that mentality. Hence they will remain the third world whilst the rest move onto improving their stature as a society tenfold.

Why you act like this... I expect more of think tank... Those other members who cheer you one is an Afghani false flagger and if you follow his posts even when you build 3 big ocean liners for foreign costumers or even when a a company builds power plants in foreign countries and get hundreds od millions of dollars as income, he still talks the same words... what do you expect from a jealous person?

I did not attack you honey... I just asked why you say it tens to be analgue while as it is written in its catalogue all data is shown on digital instrumentation... and as I said, the digital instrumentation in Shahed 285 (that says already is operational in the movies) is the same as that of with a mill heli on it... why do you act like this?

1272898340.jpg

Can't you see this set of instrumentation is the same as this:

Digital-cockpit.jpg

I never felt attacked...but as I said it is in Persian in the first photo... it is from the flight test of a new Shahed 285 chopper and it says "The new attack chopper of IRCG came into operation"

now what is your point? That the photo that says it is operation in Persian is not SHAHED or is it that the catalogue instrumentation is not for Shahed and it is for a mill?

PS: Please now that you act like a professional that only cares about technical aspects of this thread, please delete the trolling and off topic pollution here so we can discuss technically... is it enough professional?
