Iranian Cuisine

Actually Pizza or Pazza is an ancient Persian cuisine and Achaemenid soldiers used a round loaf of bread mixed with date, cheese and some other delicious stuff and then Romans copied it

Pazza پزا = cooked, Paz = cooking

But Pizza has tomato, and tomato can't be a ancient Persian cuisine ingredient .

Btw Tomato is also a widely used ingredient in current Iranian Cuisine, is it not true?

e.g: A "Persian Omelette" is a omelette with tomato.

No honestly these days it’s more about vegan this vegan that, I’m simple just cheese, I can not stand olives anymore lived in Palestine when I was a child, that was basically half what we ate,it grew all around my grandmother’s land.

I think that kind of olive pizza is more with the real origin of Italian pizza: a cheap food for common people.

American cuisine adapt foreign cuisine to local taste, like they did in Tex Mex cuisine.

The most sold kind of pizza in USA is Peperonni, and vegan substitutes are even more expensive than meat.

Yes it was a cheap and tasty food

So Romans learned how to make this tasty food from Persian soldiers 😂
It's not easy to prove that.

Anyway, there is no need to invent anything.

Ancient soldiers just ate what they had: Bread, olives, cheese.

If you have bread and olives, and you put olives in the bread, you are not inventing anything  .

By the other side, Italian "Pizza" word has not a Persian etymology, and the word "pizza" widely world used, it's from the Italian language, it's not from farsi.

There are vegan meat-like substitutes too. Of course, it's processed food and it's not healthy like real natural vegetables ingredients.

I think there are 2 trends nowadays in the west, one is veganism, but another trend more widely followed is healthy food (more vegetables, less meat, less processed food).

More than one decade ago, when "veganism" was a strange non-mainstream word, I did a fake pepperoni and fake cheese vegan pizza, of course it's not healthy, but it's vegan.

The fake cheese is soy based, and the fake peperonni soy/wheat based, in fact the strong flavour of peperonni is given by a vegetal: paprika, it's not given by meat.

I grew up in a time when salads were considered vegan, and now I have to read all the ingredients on the back of everything if I don’t understand the word I have to google it, my daughter is a hardcore vegan at 8,so she won’t eat eggs or drink milk from cows etc etc, and I respect her for that her wrapped grapes leaves made separately by the way basically rice and lemon juice

I usually eat Italian Pizza (پزا) because it's much more delicious (with narrow dough) than yankee pizza which has extremely thick dough and unsavory
the same , if i want to eat thick dough , rather get a hot BarBari bread , that's more appetizing then the American style pizza at least the ones they sell here

come here i get you some tomato less pizza

here its different , you usually see olive in pizza with beef , which probably be the most expensive form of pizza you cann get in a shop.
the vegan and pepperoni are the cheap ones

that's something I eat for dinner , for breakfast I prefer to eat warm food.

I never ate American pizza made by Americans but what American pizza I ate here was about thick pizza dough

In Pakistan, they make kofta with roasted almond inside. It’s my favorite. The one with the egg inside is called Nargisi kofta.

I think my daughter is actually a true believer in vegan it’s a whole story about YouTube and her friend showing her videos about how animals go from farm to your table, the boy yes, i don’t know if you have heard about chick fila but it’s basically run by Christian fundamentalists, and we still take our kids to go eat there it’s like a drug to them their chick nugget’s, not going to lie they are delicious
