They are def going into Gaza. They have to. It would look very weak if they don’t if they stop at the border.

The amount of tanks and reservists being called up points to a door to a door and block by block incursion and possible permanent occupation.

Could be a bluff or a last minute diplomacy deal stop its. But this wasn’t your ordinary spray some rockets and injury a few IDF border patrol type attack that happens every X amount of years. Anything less than a full ground assault makes Israel look weak.

Well that appears to be the bait in my eyes. They go in, the Arab states will be under serious internal political pressure to react to it, to the blood shed. The videos and images that will come up will justify action from the Axis, and not only justify it, but it will be demanded by millions of Arabs. It will de-stabilize the whole region especially Egypt and Jordon who the population knows their leaders are lackys. The Axis will definitely react to it and open up new frontiers at a later time. At the end of it all, maybe....maybe Iran will be involved directly after monitoring the situation.

So they can either continue attacking from the air (which looks weak ultimately and play it safe), or risk a war they will not recover from. I'm convinced if they go in, to conquer the Gaza strip (not just a short raid and out), they will risk a big one.

If Hezbollah fully commits then Israel has a real serious problem on its hands that it won’t easily overcome. The prospect of direct Iranian/Syrian/Iraqi involvement is also not clear either which is an even worse situation that will probably draw in the Americans.

Just surprised that it came so soon.
