There is no time to close anything, it was minutes to reach target if it had been a real missile.

Problem now will be if someday a real missile is launched against Tehran, operators will be afraid of stop it, thinking it could be a error.

USSR lack of safety measure , the system can't determine north from south and had to enter it manually and the fact it don't have any iff
and its disability to distinguish a passenger airplane from a cruise missile .

and on top of the cake , the crew don't follow the procedures and try some shortcut to be fasrter

those 4 points can happen everyday.

someone do jamming to civilian airplane communications and any state would doubt.

the airplane was not jammed and it was in usual communication with tower

He basically confirmed Bavar is still in R&D and testing stages. All the people on here who claimed it was being mass produced and just not shown off appear to be incorrect.

IIRC, he says that although the Sayyad-4B successfully intercepted a target (Karrar UAV) at a range of c.300km (late 2022), in practice it can intercept targets beyond 300km (implied 400km IMO). I think he is talking about the testing of a new version of Bavar-373 (perhaps Arman?) with exoatmospheric intercept capabilities.

There is a least 4 versions of Bavar in development

1) original ultra high end system (believe it was too expensive)

2) war game unveiling version (with radar mast on the TELAR)

3) next gen version of original 1st Gen prototypes (Armann project)

4) space focused version


This all points to testing and development stage versus mass production stage of a finished model(s)

S-500 needs will of its operators to shoot at American satellites. It doesn't shoot on its own.

if it was up to me i would have built something to deal with satellite like star-link sats , missile based Anti satellite systems are not suitable for those roles, their role is limited to big traditional spy satellites

No such thing as Bavar-2. For there to be a Bavar-1 you need to mass produce it. Bavar-2 is just the next prototype of Bavar system.

Not Necessarily , Bavar is not the first weapon system that its first version is not mass produced
