No! My point is that we do not know much about the 'ground realities' of these exercises; why US fighter jets performed poorly or whatever. Only insiders know the truth and they won't reveal a thing or two unless necessary. In other words, war games doesnt mean anything to you if US loses? Since none of these planes were in the relevant war conditions, there is no other means to base our opinion on, only war games and specs on paper. If you think US is superior at anything and everything, regardless what spec and war tests show, then pick the flag
Remember the botched USAF exercise against IAF in 2005 (Cope India 2005) whose aim was to get funding for induction of F-22s?
This is why I am trying to caution you on the matters related to exercises. Any military exercise has a purpose and sometimes handicaps are deliberately introduced for evaluation purposes.
Yes. The same could be said about Iraq. It knew better about US capabilities than you or me.and? Iran knows better about US capabilities than you or me, and while Iran's budget is vastly smaller, it also have the benefit of the very specific focus.
Please do not kid yourself.
I have acknowledged that Iran is improving its asymmetric warfare capabilities with passage of time because sanctions prevent Iran from acquiring latest weapons. However, Iranians think that what they have is enough. This is wrong perception. You think that all those modern gadgets of US are worthless or they are designed to counter any kind of threat? Ponder over this.US main focus is military dominance over poor countries, as well as preparation to face-off Russia and China. Iran over the past few decades were specifically working to face US, no one else. That erases US superiority to some extent, much like vastly superior Israel couldnt defeat few thousand of Iran armed and trained Hezbollah fighters.
When you talk about taking on US; you really up the game. Also, please stop using Israel-Hezbollah example here. Israel is situated right next to Lebanon and Hezbollah could fire large number of rockets in to Israel to disrupt civilian life there. This is not the case with USA.
I am not saying that Iran will be walk in the park. It won't be. But you need to understand that US prefers to fight on its own terms. And Iran cannot afford to go toe-to-toe with it on military front. In addition, Vietnam like scenarios are also no longer possible; US war-machine is considerably different and better since the days of Vietnam.
If military history haven't taught you anything; nothing will.Your claims about me have no grounds to any reality I never said or alleged anything like that, nor I am Iranian.
