What country in the world besides Saudi Arabia has to organise a logistic like it's required in Mecca to host pilgrims? None. So you can't compare it with any other country.

One of my friends uncle performed hajj 5 times ! (His uncle is just 40 years old !)

The cook at our university was around 50 and he performed haj for 17 time and wanted to go again that year and it was 10 year ago.
I believe when there is such crowds and there are so many people who want to go to haj and can't go they must put a limit somewhere.

What amazes me the most is the number of Pakistanis trying to appease Saudis. Let's assume Saudi officials are totally innocent, still it's our every right to question safety regulations in Hajj, 125 of our people have died.

Another thing is, some people are trying to relate this to sectarianism, they happen to be the most sectarian members here. So you should try another game.

I remember when few Saudi pilgrims died in an accident in Iran, and how Iranian members were outraged at those responsible for that incident, demanding punishment for them.

Last year in Karbala there was no stompade and the participants were alot more.
Also Indian have a religious pilgrimage with a lot more people participating.
