I never thought that harmless post that was not meant to taken seriously especially with that emoticon I used would give so much heartburn to so many Pakistanis. I am tired of being quoted by Pakistanis on that post.

First: Baloch don't consider themselves Iranian but Arabs. Period.

Second: Again what the hell is Iranic language? :)

Pakistanis are quoting you have came up with something new. Iranuic language. They are interested to know more about this language.

Please somebody explain why Pakistanis are angry about this issue ???

We don't consider ourself Arabs or Iranians .. We are Baluch .. Our language is Iranic just like the Pashtuns n others ..

As for Iranians they are free to do so .. Heck anybody can do that .. Our impotent govt won't mind.. Although you might have to deal with the military forces..

Why? It is simple, any statement that appears to hint at invasion of Pakistani territory, however brief or justified, by foreign forces will never go down well.

Would you like to predict a response in Turkey if Greece made a similar statement over some issue?

Frontier Corps teams have intensively combed the entire region but could not verify the entry or presence of these Iranian border guards on its territory.

ISLAMABAD: A day after Iran threatened to send forces into Pakistani territory to recover its five abducted soldiers, the foreign office admitted negligence over the matter but reminded that Iranian forces had no authority to cross the country’s borders.

In a statement released by the foreign office on Tuesday,

it said that the government regretted the negligence on its part over the incident.

“Pakistan has already informed the Iranian authorities that its Frontier Corps teams have intensively combed the entire region but could not verify the entry or presence of the abducted Iranian border guards on its territory,” the statement read.

The foreign office claimed that there was a possibility that the kidnappers, along with the abducted border guards, may still be hiding within Iranian territory.

“Security organisations of both the countries are in regular contact and a senior level Pak-Iran border meeting has been scheduled in Quetta for February 19, at which relevant information will be exchanged.”

The statement added that Iranian forces had no authority to cross Pakistani border, and any such attempt will be in violation of the international law.

Well, if Terrorists from Greece attacks Turkey and retreats back to Greece. We will hunt them down in Greece like we done in Iraq.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan warned Iran on Tuesday not to send troops across the two countries' shared border to retrieve five kidnapped Iranian border guards, an incident that threatens to exacerbate regional and sectarian tensions.

On Monday, Iranian Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani-Fazli was quoted as saying Iran might consider sending its forces onto Pakistani soil if Pakistan did not take the steps necessary to fight against militants.

"Iranian forces have no authority to cross our borders in violation of the international law. We must respect each other's borders," the Pakistani government statement said.

Predominantly Shiite Iran says militants seized the guards about 5 km (3 miles) inside Iran on Feb. 6 in the province of Sistan-Baluchistan and took them into Pakistan.

A Sunni insurgent Iranian group calling itself Jaish al-Adl (Army of Justice) claimed responsibility for the kidnapping, according to a Twitter account purporting to belong to the group. Its authenticity could not be immediately verified.

"The government of Pakistan regrets the suggestions of negligence on its part over the incident, especially when Pakistan's active support against terrorists groups in the past, is well-known and acknowledged by Iran," the Pakistani statement said.

Pakistan said it was in contact with Iran and had searched the area looking for the abducted border guards but been unable to find them in the mountainous, sparsely populated area.

The area where the kidnappings took place has a history of violence and sectarian problems.

Both countries are Muslim, but Pakistan is a majority Sunni state with a minority of Shiites. Iran is the reverse. In both countries, the minority sect complains of discrimination.

Since Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif took office, Pakistan has moved to align itself more closely with Saudi Arabia, the country that gave Sharif a home when he was exiled after a coup.

Foreign Office's reply to Iranian Statement
Reaction to the reported statement made by Iranian Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani-Fazli
(2014-02-18)

Pakistan has noted with serious concern the statement by the Iranian Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani-Fazli that Iran would send forces into Pakistan to free five border guards who were kidnapped by the militants on 6 February 2014 from the border region about 5 km inside Iranian territory. The Government of Pakistan regrets the suggestions of negligence on its part over the incident, especially when Pakistan’s active support against terrorists groups in the past, is well-known and acknowledged by Iran.

Pakistan has already informed the Iranian authorities that its Frontier Corps teams have intensively combed the entire region but could not verify the entry or presence of these Iranian border guards on its territory. It is therefore possible that the miscreants alongwith the abducted border guards are still hiding within the Iranian territory.

The security organizations of both the countries are in regular contact and a senior level Pak-Iran border meeting is scheduled in Quetta for 19 February, at which relevant information would be exchanged.

It shall, however, be emphasized that the Iranian forces have no authority to cross our borders in violation of the international law. We must respect each other’s borders.

Our govt. has always adopted a loser tone. "Please we urge you not to take any step". Leadership of kids, no men among them.

Iraq is a broken country, anyone friends in coalition can enter and leave freely. Iran is off to scapegoat Pakistan over its own short comings. Sending untrained conscripts who'd rather get taken hostage than defend themselves or border as they were meant to. Its human nature to leave self last to blame while others are around. At any rate, I would like to see Iran walk the talk. Maybe it will help grow the balls of our general.

Is Pakistan doing anything to rescue those guards?

if iran knows where these gauds are being held , then they can let us know we can get them ... why iran is behving like a prick ?

truth be told , the iranians are not entirely blame free from the prevaling law and order situation in Pakistan
