Here is the problem ... India is one of the biggest market of Afghan dry fruits and Afghan dry fruits are famous for their quality. But, I doubt that export from Chahbar is possible. Because the majority of dry fruits have short life in sealed containers. Few years ago, Afghan trucks were allowed to export products routing Pakistan to India. But Pak govt didn't allow those trucks to bring any product from India to Afghanistan, due to security reasons.
The project was failed, because truckers were losing money when they back empty. IF the Afghan govt willing to adopt this trade proposal, then we can't do anything.

proper storage, not regular containers. Because from shipping route it takes a longer time. From Pakistan, it used to take a day or two. I learnt, dry fruit always keep in cold area or fridge if you want to keep it fresh.

dried food by definition is not "fresh", I think you must have meant to say still edible/unspoiled.

unsealed dried food if refrigerated will lose its 4-12 month life expectancy due to it becoming re-hydrated due to moisture in the fridge.

I have been growing/dehydrating/storing foods for about 10 years now for my own use.

Not much feasible when u bypass Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan. If the goal is only to reach southern Russia then fine but that wont benefit much.
Also why use chabahar then? U can use any iranian port for that route.

Its not just reaching Moscow, its also getting trade connectivity with a bunch of Central Asian nations.
Chahbahar would be a new port, so it would have some advantages over existing Iran ports. Plus it would be a competitor to Gwadar.

Afghanistan might be off-limits for now but history shows that political situation in that nation swings every few years. We will be ready when a friendly govt comes there.

I guess u dont understand what is going on. What was stopping india from using that route when they had good relations with iran and a friendly govt in Afghanistan?? Iran always had good ports, whats so special in chabahar? Infact using chabahar for that route is dumb because it reduces sea travel and increases land travel and we all know sea travel is the cheapest. If you go through iran to caspian sea and then back to central asia then its again a very long route and would be expensive.

India being a huge population had more to gain from inland route through Pakistan but india destroyed the prospects themselves. Supporting terrorism in balochistan, supporting terrorists through Afghanistan and denying dialogue on kashmir. The only possibility of a route through Pakistan is if india seriously negotiate with Pakistan on kashmir issue and solve it. Chabahar route was longer bt still workable if it went through Afghanistan and to CA. Without going through Afghanistan, there is no added advantage in the other routes. Building a port and investing so much, merely to avoid strait of hormuz is dumb. In any case if iranian ports are blockaded, chabahar would be blockaded too and its not that far from hormuz.
