"Ashtr al-Sheraziya Brigade", which is closely linked to Iran, said it was behind a car explosion in Bahrain’s city of Riffa on Wednesday night. The blast did not claim any casualties, according to police.

The incident took place at 8:30 p.m. (local time) at a parking lot near a Sunni Muslim mosque while people were praying, police said, adding a gas cylinder was inside the vehicle.

The relevant security authorities immediately rushed to the scene to take all the appropriate measures and an investigation into the incident was launched.

Officials said that the incident was an attempt to inflame sectarian tensions.

Rifaa is close to the residences of the Bahraini crown prince, the interior minister as well as others officials.

According to the state BNA news agency, King Hamad ordered swift action against all those who incite violence.

"The people of Bahrain have had enough and have run out of patience over such acts that are strange to the people of Bahrain and their morals," said the king.

Meanwhile, Al Wafeq – the main Shiite opposition group – condemned in a statement on its website the attack.

Now if I think about it how many Mosques in Iraq have been hit and people killed? Each time they say its Al-Qaeda when the people themselves don't claim that. When you consider the fact the country is basically run by Iran and its militias it wouldn't be hard to determine that its probably Iranian groups themselves doing those bombings Considering the fact how blood lust they have become in recent years.

. .
This is the first time I hear of this group. Can you give me a link about them?

Hezbollah Al-Hejaz (Arabic: حزب الله الحجاز‎, English: Party of God in the Hijaz) is or was a militant organization operating in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain. Hizbollah in the Hijaz (Saudi Hizbollah) is a Shi‘i organization founded in 1987 in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province.[1] It is pro-Khomeini as opposed to the pro-Shirazi ‘Organization of the Islamic Revolution’ [munazzamat al-thawra al-islamiyya] (OIR).[2] It is outlawed in Saudi Arabia.

Fouad Ibrahim, a Saudi Shiite scholar and former activist, relates that the main Shiite opposition body, the Organization of the Islamic Revolution (Munazzamat al-Thawra al-Islamiyya), was established by Shaykh Hasan al-Saffar, a Shiite cleric, in December 1979, following the first burst of rioting. Saffar, who participated in the uprising, was inspired by the revolutionary reading that the Iranian Ali Shariati.

???

I don't know what you want to say. My question was about the so-called "Ashtr al-Sheraziya Brigade".

.
In the 1960s, Ayatollah Shirazi aligned himself with the exiled Grand Ayatollah Khomeini in Iraq to counterbalance the clerical establishment in Najaf[39] and tasked his nephew Hadi al-Modarresi,[40] who had attended Khomeini’s politicizing lectures in Najaf,[41] to collect khums —annual taxation of one-fifth of all gain—among the Bahraini Shi’a. Initially, Sheikh Qassim and other students of Ayatollah Sadr ignored Ayatollah Shirazi’s activities in Bahrain, but when al-Modarresi applied for and was granted Bahraini citizenship in 1974, al-Da’wa activists understood that the Shiraziyyin had come to Bahrain to stay. Every khums dinar that Ayatollah Shirazi’s representatives collected would be a dinar less for Ayatollah Sadr’s representatives.

A fierce struggle for the Shi’a khums money erupted between the two factions. Sheikh Qassim and al-Modarresi competed with each other from mosque to mosque and matam (houses of sorrow, Shi’a cultural institutions in Bahrain) to matam to attract the greatest number of followers and greatest amount of khums.
:omghaha: I want your Khums :smokin:

The al-Da’wa and Shiraziyyin rivalry in Bahrain also had a doctrinal dimension. From 1973, while Sheikh Qassim and other al-Da’wa members served as parliamentarians in the so-called “religious bloc” (al-Kutla al-Diniyya)[42] and demanded reform of the political system in Bahrain, the Shiraziyyin, led by al-Modarresi, were preparing for an armed struggle against the Khalifa regime. In cooperation with Hojjat al-Eslam Mohammad Montazeri, son of Grand Ayatollah Hossein-Ali Montazeri,[43] and Hojjat al-Eslam Mehdi Hashemi, the brother of the son-in-law of Grand Ayatollah Montazeri, al-Modaressi and the Shiraziyyin distributed recordings of Grand Ayatollah Khomeini’s inciting speeches, organized revolutionary cells in Bahrain,[44] and dispatched their cadres to undertake military training in Palestine Liberation Organization refugee camps in Lebanon.[45]

:laughcry: Now we know why they are called Al-Qumsiya Al-Sheraziya Brigade

???

I don't know what you want to say. My question was about the so-called "Ashtr al-Sheraziya Brigade".

They are part of the Organization of Islamic Revolution which are Pro-Ayatollat Shirazi whos been collecting Qums from Bahraini Shi'ees for decades.

.
OK, let's assume this is right. Still, you yourself posted this is not a pro-Khomeini group.

. .
Assuming this is the truth, this groups are not active anymore, they were active in 80's, but not in present.

This car explosion has nothing to do with Iran, it looks more like a false flag action. Bahraini authorities always blame Iran for everything. They also said (and still say) that Iran was behind 2011 uprising, even though their own commission proved that Iran had absolutely nothing to do with the uprising:

The link is some turds opinion not facts which are based on historical truths. Shiraziyan Groups among the Shi'ees are the most active groups in terms of Military training and allegiance to Iran and the "Shi'ee Revolution which was started by Iran". This isn't the only time they made a bombing in Bahrain couple of months ago they were also responsible for a bombing in Bahrain.

.
the fact that protester in Bahrain are unarmed is tell tell sign that Iran is not support them . honnestly there is nothing easier than smuggling arms and weapons to Bahrain

and about this

well nothing more is expected from Al-qaeda supporters .
and let me tell you what is this explosion Tomorrow protesters are planning to held a big gathering in Bahrain and Bahrain monarchy detonated this firecracker and blame it on protesters to make a good excuse for themselves to crack on protesters . and right now they announced they won't allow any protest for tomorrow and severely act against protesters.

Right that is as much believable as Assad bombing over 2,000 Sunni Mosques in Syria because weapons were supposedly stored there. :butcher:

Fire Cracker? You Iranians really have a vicious sense of humor.

.
al arabiya :what:
nice story

and what i enjoyed the most is "pro Khomeini" group written by Quantifier
didn't you know Khomeini is dead since a long time now ? lol

.
yes fiecracker , the car bomb that fail to even destroy the car is firecracker , if you want to see what real bomb is go and look at the handiwork's of your friends in Al-Qaeda

.
@Quantifier
Most of the suicide bombers in Iraq are not Iraqis neither Iranians but other Arabs. The US army captured many suicide bombers which gave this result.
