What's new

Iran kills 1 Pakistani soldier, 3 injured.

Tehran and Islamabad must set up a joint-investigation committee to find facts that led to this tragedy.
No, we will invade the illegal mullah republic and fly the American, Saudi and Pakistani flag over Tehran.

So an Indian is telling us why the Iranians don't like Pakistanis on their behalf.

OKAY.

it is not talking on behalf of iranian. people do analyze situations...sunni-shia conflict is not something new and are not exactly friendly towards each other. then there is the question of pak proximity towards saudis who iranians despise the most

Mindless Pakistan bashing as you have been doing is not any less indicative of "ignorance and malice".
Since we still don't know the entire inside story of the event, we can neither blame Iran or Pakistan. But judging from the past, insurgents came from Pakistan a sovereign nation of laws and not some lawless tribal area.

I am unable to check his flags.. it was not appearing on my mobile... And I don't have option to post emoticons. ..

@ito none of have right to say whom likes Pakistan and whom don't like..
@Topic ... I think Iran should be cautious when dealing in peaceful border.. . any how Rest in Peace...

as i explained to webmaster, it more of analyzing the situation than talking on behalf of iranians

Iran was receiving weapons from its two most hated enemies during the Iran-Iraq war. Lets remember, the clerics there are also extremely critical of atheists. With this being said, it would make one wonder why they have such a close relationship with Russia and China.

That is what the Iranians would want their populace to believe, since the regime doesn't really want to own up to the fact that they are repressing, violently, the Baloch minority in Sistan-Balochistan. Iran is not some land of milk and honey that does not have any internal problems. The local Iranian Baloch population provides plenty of sympathisers to shelter insurgents and join them. The impoverished locals (Baloch and non-Baloch) are also susceptible to involvement in the criminal activities that occur along the border, which in turn breeds its own violence given the high stakes involved in smuggling drugs, weapons and human trafficking.

so you like your 'enemy' if it is a nuclear power and muslim, if that is the case why not love india too. india is much larger nuclear force and has 200 million muslims - by some count 2nd largest muslim population accounting for 15% of world's muslim population .

Stop being hostile to all its neighbors??? it is easier said than done.

That was not what I meant. Use some brains, if you have one. Pakistan and Iran have historically never been an enemy. Its the most peaceful border in our history.

No, maybe Iranian Shiites manage to revolt our Shiite minority which is huge and start civil sectarian war in Pakistan?

if you cannot argue, resort to personal attacks...a strategy perfected by pakistanis

pakistanis and Iranians have historically never been friends either. what does it say mr brain?

Pakistan and Iran had excellent relations during the reign of the Shah - the downward spiral came about when the religious Mullah's took over and the Saudis and Iranians fought a sectarian proxy war inside Pakistan.

Pakistan is the most pro-Iranian nation in the entire world. We have never had any huge problems with Iranians. All surveys point to this direction:
Iran is popular in Pakistan, overwhelmingly disliked everywhere else - The Washington Post

Our relations have been not so good since that Shiite Iranian revolution of 1979, but economically our two nations have been good fellows:

Enemies generally do not sign billion of dollars worth of gas pipeline contracts:

This mega project is currently not feasible on the Pakistani side because our dumb leaders have ruined the treasury. Maybe in the future under the leadership of IK, we might move and complete this project.

that was an period of anomaly.

you cannot win an argument saying pakistan and iran are friends, because they are not.
they cannot be neither neutral with each other too because as neighbors you hold an opinion about your neighbors

if your are not friendly with your neighbors, you are 'enemies'. the only question that remains to be asked is how much enemy your are with each other.

then why did they killed you solider, and this is not some isolated incidence

and certainly friends don't do this

The Iranians will not pick a fight that they cannot win, especially given the array of very wealthy and powerful regional allies that will line up against them, and Pakistan has no interest in picking a fight that will divert her resources away from her COIN campaigns and the Eastern border with India, therefore, the Iran-Pakistan relationship is going to remain largely stable.

Because Pakistani authorities are pretty useless in containing our borders.

I'm shocked !

What will Iranian benefit from playing with a strong military like Pakistan ?
they should take a clear view about their military capabilities before thinking of killing a Pakistani soldier !:disagree:

Otherwise, Iran government DOESN'T CARE about its people lives and taking them out of its responsibility .
because that doing called " suicide " .:butcher:

And I'm sad of that died soldier .:(

Moreover,Iran must be punished in military way to stop its bullshit ! :buba_phone:

Because, they didn't respect their neighbor !
